Thursday, August 25, 2016, 11:59 pm in electronic format only

Instructions: (please follow instructions exactly)

One of the key attributes of a good employee is the ability to follow directions.
When applying to a project it is very important that you precisely follow the
directions below.

Please provide the following information: all in electronic format only, and all within
a single MSWord or PDF document (file).

General:
1) You must e-mail this file to me, Paul Darby, as a single attachment by the
stated due date and time for consideration. My e-mail address is:
darby@louisiana.edu

2) You must check your attached file for corruption yourself. If your attached
file is corrupted or late, it is unacceptable.

3) All of your applications and additional materials must be fully self-contained
within the single MSWord or PDF file attached. Separate files for resume,
application, cover letter, etc. are not acceptable.

4) Hard copies of application materials will not be accepted.

Your application submittal must include the following in this order.

1. You must provide a formal coversheet in your attached file that lists your full
name, and all of the projects by project number and name to which you are
applying, in order of preference. Nothing else other than described in
example below is permitted on the formal coversheet.

Example of Coversheet Content:

separate completed application form for each project to which you are
applying (form next page) in order of preference.

choice and 3rd choice. You must apply to one or more projects. If you choose,
you may apply to all.

4. Following the application form, include a single One Page Letter with
separate paragraphs for each project to which you are applying, explaining
for each, why you should be considered for that project and what you bring
to the project.
5. Following the letter, provide a single one-page resume.

6. Following your one-page resume, at your option, you may provide up to
three references, but be sure you have their permission.

Now, once you have all of this together in a single MS Word or PDF file (not a zipped
folder), then follow the required transmitting procedure below:
