EQUIPMENT
The company's self-owned fleet of equipment in Ghana consists of
numerous items including bulldozers, vibratory compactors, motor
graders, loaders, hydraulic excavators, scrapers, pipe layers,
earthmoving vehicles and trucks and other auxiliary equipment.
The equipment is fully suited to its current operational requirements
and to the work scope of projects being executed. In addition to
existing and newly purchased heavy machinery, Rolider Ghana
purchased the machinery plant of Belfinger-Berger Ghana, which
included over 150 units of equipment. With this purchase, the total
equipment of the company exceeds over 450 units.

The heavy duty equipment owned by the company includes: Bulldozers,

Front-end Wheel Loaders, Motor Graders, Compactors, Excavators, Tipper
Trucks, Full Trailer Trucks, Chip-Spreaders, Bitumen Tankers/Spreaders,
Petrol Tankers, Water Tankers/Spreaders, Low-Bed Trailers, Field
Workshop Trucks, Flat-Bed Trucks, Generators, Lighting Towers, Pumps
and additional auxiliary equipment and containers. In 2010 the company
purchased a brand new, state of the art Concrete Batching Plant. With a selfowned and operated full-scale, modern workshop/garage, managed by
qualified professional mechanics, the Company can ensure high quality
maintenance of all its equipment, required to ensure continuity of work.

PROJECTS

Rolider Ltd has completed numerous large scale projects, which

were performed, among others, for the Ministry of Roads and
Transport through the Ghana Highways Authority and the World
Bank. All completed projects were done in accordance with the
clients' contractual requirements and to the clients full satisfaction.

Hohoe-Golokwaiti for the Ministry of Roads & Transport through

the Ghana Highway Authority - Surface dressing of 19km road,
earthwork cut and fill, concrete works, stone pitching, road safety
signs.
Winneba Trunk Road Projects (a sub-contract works from Taisei
Corporation of Japan) - Construction of 12km road, earthworks
cut and fills with crush stone base, drainage systems, stone
pitching.
Ho-Fume (25 km). Ministry of Roads & Transport Ghana
Highway Authority.

Achiase-Akenkansu for the Ministry of Roads & Transport Ghana Highway Authority - Construction of 4km road, double
surface dressing, earthwork cut and fill, natural base, drainage
systems, stone pitching, road marking and safety signs.
Sagakope-Adidome road for the Ministry of Roads & Transport Ghana Highway Authority - Construction of 30km road, double
surface dressing, earthwork cut and fill, stabilized base, drainage
systems, stone pitching, road marking and safety signs.
Adidome town roads for the Ministry of Roads & Transport Ghana Highway Authority - Resurfacing of a 30 km, earthwork
cut and fill, drainage systems, stone pitching, signage.

Emergency Works for the Upgrading of Sogakope-Adidome

Road (0.00-7.00),
Upgrading of Asiekpe-Mafi Kumasi Road (8.35 Km),
Upgrading of Sogakope Senior High School Access Road
(0.00 1.800 KM). (Awarded 22/04/2010) all for - Ministry of
Roads & Highways - Ghana Highway Authority
Aboabo storm drainage improvement works in Kumasi Financed by AFD (Agence Franaise De Dveloppement).
Construction of Aboabo storm drainage system 0-3.8km.
Infrastructure upgrading of Roads, Electricity, Water and
Drainage.

Ho-Fume Road Extension (0.00-07.00 + 28.700-40.100km) Awarded 14/07/2010 - Ministry of Roads & Highways - Ghana
Highway Authority.
Tema Sanitary Landfill Project - Awarded 9/11/2010 by Tema
Metropolitan Assembly - Construction of modern engineered
landfill to cater for the Tema and Kpone municipalities. The landfill
will also produce biogas and manure from compacted waste. This
project was financed by the World Bank.

Ghana Development Projects

Rolider Ltd has recently undertaken the development and

construction of a self-operated and maintained industrial zone in
the Port Town of Tema, on an area of 2.5 hectares, which will
include the Companys Central Mechanical Workshop, logistics and
storage areas.

The company is in the final stages of designing its new offices

complex in a central location in Accra. Following the recently
discovered oil reserve in Takoradi, Ghanas Western Region
Capital, the largest discovery of crude oil in Africa in the last
decade, Rolider is finalizing the purchase of 1 hectare of land in the
city centre.
In the capital of the Volta Region, Ghanas main tourism region,
Rolider Ltd has purchased 3 hectares of land, located adjacent to
the main tourism attractions in the area.
Several other development projects are also being considered in
various locations throughout the country for execution in the next
few years.
