CHAPTER1:GENERAL

1.1.INTRODUCTION
ThisMaintenanceManual(MM)isintendedforpersonnelresponsibleformaintenanceoftheIntegratedWeaponSystemF2000TacticalbyFNHerstal.

Thepurposeofthismanualistofamiliarizepersonnelwiththeoperationandmaintenanceoftheweapon,toexplainthedisassembly,reassembly,repair
and/orreplacementofpartsthatmakeuptheweaponanddescribeappropriateinspections,templatesandadjustmentprocedures.

1.2.DESCRIPTION
IntegratedWeaponSystemF2000Tacticalisaweaponsystemwhosemechanismisintegratedintothebuttstock.Itsexteriorprofilehasbeendesigned
withroundedcontours,withoutprotrudingelement,evenwhenitisequippedwithaccessories.Itsinnovativedesignisfocusedonshootingcomfortand
transport.
IntegratedWeaponSystemF2000Tacticalisfullyambidextrouswithoutanymodificationnecessaryduetoejection.Thefireselectorandsafety,
magazinecatchbuttonandleverarmsareeasilyaccessible.
ThebasecaliberWeaponSystemIntegratedTacticalF2000isthestandardNATOammunition5.56x45mm.
TheWeaponSystemIntegratedTacticalF2000canbereconfiguredaccordingtothespecificrequirementsofmission.Anysightingsystemcanbe
mountedonstandardPicatinnyrailMILSTD1913.TheWeaponSystemIntegratedTacticalF2000isequippedwithasightofreliefadjustable.
Thehandguardcanbereplacedbystandardaccessoriessuchasgrenadelaunchers,40mmLV,atrirailhandguard,alasersight,aflashlight...All
configurationsoftheIntegratedWeaponSystemF2000Tacticalrespecttheoriginalergonomicsoftheweapon.Thenaturalbalanceandcomfort
transportationisneverdegraded.
