2nd grade field practicum hours. Planned and taught lessons in all content areas, implemented
Susan Barton reading program with single child, graded childrens work, prepared prep work
with cooperating teacher, implemented formative assessments, coordinated center work,
proctored running records and fluency groups.
New Horizon Special School, Ghana, Africa

Volunteer in different age level special needs classrooms. Taught English, implemented arts and
crafts, song and dance, read with children, aided in feeding and maneuvering children.

drove city vehicle to and from parks, handled money and managed finances, assured customers paid

University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) 2015; lived, studied and volunteered abroad from
January 22nd to June 1st in Ghana, Africa through USAC
Susan Barton 2016; applied an Orton Gillingham influenced reading program
ORFF Workshop 2016; received from American Orff-Schulwerk association (Four Corners
Chapters Professional Development Clinic) Trained and advised on how to integrate
music and arts in the classroom.
