Purpose of the Job:

Develops, publishes, and implements test plans for complex, multi-tier, distributed,
applications throughout the full lifecycle of the software.

Work on all applications including new and in production.

Writes and maintains test cases/scripts.
Publishes test results.
Develops quality assurance standards.
Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and
open defect counts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Design Test Plan of the project or product

Design Test Cases of the project or product.

Create Test scenarios/ business scenarios of the project or product.

Check / Review the Test Cases (TC) designed for the project or product.

Keep track of the new requirements of project or product.

Escalate the issues about project requirements.

Test and measure finished products, components for functioning, operation,

accuracy or assembly to verify adherence to functional specification.

Analyze and interpret blue prints, sample data, and other materials to
determine, change, or measure specification or inspections and testing
procedures.

Preparing test data for the execution of test cases of projects or product.

10 Define items with errors, record test results and inspection data, and compare
findings with specification to ensure conformance to standards.
11 Identify, track and follow through to ensure bugs are corrected.
12 Work closely with programmers/developers so after evaluating the product, meet
with programmers to describe the problems encountered and suggest ways for
solving glitches.
13 Manage test lab environment.
14 Lead and facilitate testing.
15 Communicates and mentors other team members and possibly cross team
members.
16 Articulates opinions and helps guide work unit.

17 Good analytical skill for problem solving and decision making.

18 Strong documentation and communication skills.
