Spelling Schedule

A-B-C-D Days
Directions: Follow this schedule for spelling as it is assigned in the
planner. Please use a pencil.

A Day (5x): Students are introduced to 8 new words in class. At


home, students will write each word correctly 5 times and spell it
out loud as they write. Study previous lists.
Ex: 1. play

B Day (Rainbow Words): Students will write each letter of the


word in a different color. Study previous lists.
Ex: 1. play
2. they

C Day (Sentences): Students will write each word in a

sentence. Underline the spelling word. Study previous lists.


1. I like to play with my best friend, Jen.
2. I like it when they go to the beach.

D Day (ABC order): Students will review the 5 words and


alphabetize them. Study for the test tomorrow!
**All spelling homework should be recorded in their Spelling
Notebook
