Late Work Policy

Late work will be accepted with the following penalty guidelines:
A 10 point penalty per day for the first 3 days
After the third day, a maximum grade of 70 can be assigned
After three days, I will accept your work for feedback purposes only!

Make up Work Policy

If you know you are going to be absent in advance, pick up make-up work before you miss class.
If a student is absent, he/she has the amount of time equal to the number of days absent to make up
the work. (Ex. A student who was absent for 2 days has 2 days after their return to school to make
up their assignment)
Remember: It is the responsibility of the student to obtain the make-up work. I will not remind
you!
If you miss the day of the test, be ready to take the test the day you return to class (you may come
in to take it after school).

Tardy Policy:

Students are expected to be on time for class. (This means in your seat NOT at the door!)
Students who are late to class should have a pass.
Students who are late consistently will receive a formal write-up.

GENERAL PROCEDURES FOR ENGLISH CLASS:

Be IN your seat and PREPARED to learn when the bell rings.
