Write the following ages on the board: 15, 25, 40, 60.
Get the students, in pairs or small groups to discuss what kind of life
they think people lead/ what kind of things people do in their lives at
each of these different ages.
Ask a couple of people to share their ideas.

Give the students the two sets of paper strips.

Ask them to match the correct adjectives and nouns with each other
Then, ask the students to use each of these new lexical items to fill in
the blanks of the sentences in the word sheet.
Then invite a couple of members to write the answers on the board.
Give open feedback.

Matching words and pictures

Divide students into groups as appropriate. (If the number of the
students is not sufficient, consider the class as a single group.)

Give each student a worksheet without a picture.

Stick the pictures on the wall and ask the students to match the picture
that best represents their text.

Get them to compare the picture with another student whos working on
the same text. If there is a difference, ask them to work on it again and
find the most appropriate picture.

Now ask the students to read their text/ role card and answer the four
questions given.

role card.
After peer feedback, give them the answers and get them to check
whether they have got the correct answers.

Encourage students to find out as much as they can about the life of Ben
and write them on the worksheet.

Ask them to go back to their groups and form a discussion about Bens
life.
Ask them to re-construct Bens life story using the information that they
have found. Get each student to deal with one stage of Bens life.
Give them a set of leading questions to get them discuss why Bens life
turned out the way it did.
