Hello Teachers. My names Nguyn Hong Nhn. Im a teacher. I work at Tin Giang vocational
colledge. Everyday I often get up at five. Then I playing badminton for an hour. I have breakfast at
seven oclock. I go to work at quarter past seven (7.15) by motobike. I work seven days a week. I have
lunch at halft past eleven oclock with my family.
I finish my work at five and I come back home at five past five teen.
In the evening, I usually watch television with my wife from seven to eight oclock. I often watching
news programme VTV1. The end programme VTV1, I search information on internet about machenical,
electronis, repair the lesson for tomorrow, sometime I listen to country music . I go to bed at eleven
oclock.
When I have free time I usually surfing the internet- to widen knowledge.
At the weekend I often go out with my family. We usually go to park then go to shopping buy necessary
things for family.

Topic 2: YOUR FAMILY AND FAMILY EVENTS
Hello Teachers. My names Nguyn Hong Nhn, I live in Tin Giang Province but Im living in
HCMC for my study. Im a teacher. I work at Tin Giang vocational colledge. Im married. There are
three people in my family, my wife, my soon and me. My soon is Hang Ph. Hes one years old. My
wife is twenty-eight years old and she works as marketing. She works at agriculture seed company. I
teach electric system in automobile. I go to office at seven oclock by motobike. and come back home at
11:30 am. She works half-time so that have free time to look after my children.
My family have some events a year.as, My wifes birthday, wedding anniversary, Tet holidays so on. I
want to talk about Tet holiday. new year, My family and I wish each other health. New year wishes I
wish success and happiness. On New Years Eve, we usually stay at home to welcome a new year then
have party. I feel happy because we can share love to all my family members. The first day of the new
years, I take my family visit, sent the best wishes to my grandfather to show greatfulnuss, in that day we
can see my sister, my brother to share love, share works and revise the childhoods memory so we can
understand together.That is a good traditional of Vietnames.

events in Tin Giang. There are many events in Tin Giang. Such as: Rach Gm-Xoi Mt relic, Ba Ri
River relic, p Bc relic... Im a person live in Cai Ly, I will talk about p Bc relic, where is near my
house (9km). The day to celebrate memory is 2 nd January every year. That is the day happen event: army
and local people defeated the U.S. imperialists in the special war.

Topic 4: YOUR TRAVEL AND PROBLEMS

Hello Teachers. My names Nguyn Hong Nhn. Im a teacher. I work at Tien Giang vocational
secondary schools .
First, traveling depends on where I am going.
I often go to work by motorcycle. Sometimes, I go by bus because it is cheap and convenient. I usually
use taxi to go to somewhere far away because it is fast and safe. I seldom travel by air plane because it
is very expensive. I travel by train for long distance.
In the years I have some travel trip with family as : Dong Tam Snake Farm, Nha Trang.
When we went to Dong Tam Snake Farm, we used motobyle. Because, it is convenient and near my
house. When went travel away as Nha Trang, I use the car. Because it is fast and safe and a chauffeur to
take me away.
Traveling has some problems:
The most common problems are traffic jams. The streets are narrow and there are many cars and
motorcycles on it. Therefore, traffice jam usually happens during rush hour. The next problem I often
have is motion sickness. Whenever I travel for long distance by car or bus, I feel very dizzy and tired.
Sometimes, I vomite too. I am ok when travelling by train. Other problems are injuries and accidents.
Sometimes, I have small accidents when travelling by motorcycle on a crowded streets. And injuries are
usually amost nothing. I have never had any serious accidents and I really dont want they will happens.

Mass media such as Radio, television, newspaper and internet are necessary for our daily life especially
in modern life because we can relax, get information, and even learn something new from mass media.
Im very busy with my work and study, so I have a little free time. In free time I often watch TV, listen
to radio and read newspaper. Besides, I usually surf the internet. Here are my favorite programs. I like
playing football so I often watching sport program on TV
Usually, I watch football games of the English Premier League. I love Manchester United team most.
And I also watch Vietnamese football games sometimes (you know, games between Vietnam and
another country). I often listen to radio and read newspapers for information about our country economy
and for local and international news. Everyday, before sleeping, I often surf the internet to update
information for my studies. We can read online newspaper, too. Google website is very useful. You can
find everything there. I can learn a lot from internet and it helps widen my knowledge very much.
Mass media becomes more and more important in our daily life and I am happy that I can use them in
my free time to know more about the world and to increase my knowledge.

Hello Teachers. My names Nguyn Hong Nhn. Im a teacher. I work at Tien Giang vocational
secondary schools. Everyone has a dream or ambition in their life, I have some plans for my future.
The first: I try to finish my course. So Im taking an English certificate because English is not only
necessary for me graduate and but also for my future job. English is an international language. Im
taking an English course. English is necessary for me because if I am good at English I can talk to
foreign people and I can read and understand english when I use internet. English is also necessary for
my future job
The second: When I have a Masters (MA) degree. My next job is to learn good English to further doctor
study. And Im earning more money from my teaching so I could have money for my family.
Ill save money to buy a new house, I trying to have a stable life after this. I would also want to buy a
new car to transport my wife and daughter travel. I wish I can earn more and more money to help
abandoned children, People with Disabilities, orphans (tr m coi) and every body who need helping. I
hope my ambition will became true.
Everybody has their own plans. Some of the plans may be difficult to become true. But that is not
important. The most important thing is that I feel happy with my current life.

secondary schools. I only have free time in the evening. I go to office all day everyday so I am very
busy.
My favorite entertainments are listening music and sport on television or internet. I often listen to music
in free time. I like country music because it is romantic and smooth.It help me feel piece and relax.
I love the singer Mr m most. His voice is so smooth and romantic with songs such as Chn ng/Em
v ko tri ma... I love them.
My next entertainment is watching television. I like the sports program most. I love watching badminton
matches. Im excited by the matches that have Nguyen Tien Minh with Lindan, its very exciting.
My last entertainment is using internet. Nowadays, internet becomes more and more popular. I also have
internet at my house. I usully use internet to check e-mail. This is a good way to contact with other
people, especially my ralatives, my friends, and my colleagues. I can also watch movies or listen to
music on internet.
In our morden life, people are easily stress. Finding a good way to entertain and relax become very
important. And the above entertainments help me a lot. I am always happy and be ready for the next
working day.

Topic 8: Recent Changes and Prediction

secondary schools.

I speak about Recent Changes:

There have been many changes in our society such as economy, employment. Education, traffic.
Environment(so on).
I want to talk about changes in education.
The first change is that the percentage of high school graduation is higher. For the year 2010-2011,
almost every school have percentage of graduation greater than 90 percent (90%). But for the year
2009-2010, this percentage is just over 80%. This is a good change. However, many people are worring
that the result doesnt mean that students are good.
The second change is that most of 5 year old children have chances to go to school. Nowadays, each
family has only one or two children. They take care their children very carefully. Therefore, most of
children (5 years old or even 3, 4 years old) have chances to go to school. This is a well prepare for their
later study.
The last change that I want to talk about is that people study to get higher degree. When the society
developes, people study more and more to get a good job and to get a better life. More and more high
school students continue their study at college or university, many graduate students, especially teachers
study to get MAs and Doctors Degrees. Many students even find scholarships to study abroad (means
study in other countries).
Predictions:
To develop a country, education should be considered as the most important thing. Education of our
country is changing a lot. With above changes, in the future, I think that more new schools will be built.
This means there will be less students in the class. And to have high quality in education, classes will be
equipped with modern facilities. Courses will be more practic, and students may not go to school too
much. They may spend more time to study online at home. Schedules will be more flexible, students
will become more active. In this way, more and more people will be highlly educated. Therefore, they
can get good jobs and make our country develop faster to become a rich country.

Hello Teachers. My names Nguyn Hong Nhn. Im a teacher. I work at Tien Giang vocational high
schools.
Everybody has his own choice of job. They may choose the job because they love it. However,
somebody choose their jobs because of salary. I choose my job because I love it. Im a teacher at Tien
Giang vocational high schools.
. My major is automotive technology. I choose to become a teacher because I like talking to my
students. I would like to teach them what I know about science and technology automotive technology.
I go to work from Monday to Saturday. My job is a stable job. Everyday I start to teach from 7am and
finish at 11am. In the afternoon I teach from 1pm to 5:00pm. The school is near my house. So it does
not take much time for me to go to the school and come back. Therefore, I have time to take care of my
family, especially, my son.
The only thing that I dont like about my job is that my salary is low. It is just about 3.billions VN for
a month. To better take care of my family and my son, I need more money. So I ambition is that I can
become a teacher at a good school with modern facilities and good students. And the most important
thing is that I can receive a high salary. Also, I want to have less classes so that I can spend time to teach
and play with my son. The greatest ambition of my life is promotion or high salary.

. I will talk about the Culture and Custom Vietnam.
Viet nam has a very rich culture influenced different civilizations.
There are about 60 group of people, but most of the population are kind people.Viet nam food varies
from one region to another 80% of the population live in rural though out lowlands and highlands. They
work very hard 20% living in big cities do many different kind of jobs
There are several religions such as Buddhism, Taoism, CaoDai, Catholicism.but Buddhism and
Catholicism are 2 major religion.
Celebration and traditions are big parts of Vietnames life. The most importand celebration is tet. There
are other celebration such as birthday, aniversaries, wedding day .(so on).
Viet nam peoples are working hard and feel close to their famalies. The Vietnames respect and worship
their ancestors.
