-There are currently over 50 central acts & about 150 state acts.
-Central acts can be classified under following subcategories:
Laws related to Industrial Relations
Laws related to Wages
Laws related to Working Hours, Conditions of Service and Employment
Laws related to Equality and Empowerment of Women
Laws related to Deprived and Disadvantaged Sections of the Society
Laws related to Social Security
- Detailed analysis of few major acts.
- A brief discussion / understanding of labour laws enacted / enforced by various states is also required.
- Labour law and their need for protection of our constitutional rights.
- Labour laws applicability (Organised & Unorganised sector) (Industries & Services).
