Responsibilities:

Be able to analyze and understand technical designs based on user requirements a

nd documentation.
Work with onshore/offshore teams in delivering accurate defect free code for mul
tiple projects.
Independently review technical design documents including data mappings to debug
production issues.
Coordinate with onshore PS Team to improve the applications to run efficiently w
ithin the nightly schedule window and meet business requirements.
Create and update technical documentation using high level technical specificati
on documents
Create unit test plans and verify the unit test results are correct and function
ing as designed
Work with QC Analyst to ensure modifications are appropriately tested by identif
ying key test conditions, provide technical expertise on how to execute the cycl
e and assist with troubleshooting testing issues.
Be able to coordinate and work with multiple development teams, outside vendors
and other support areas for making improvements in the nightly schedules or corr
ecting bugs.
Assists / oversees production implementation according to the defined release sc
hedules and maintenance of the production, QA and test environments
Lead and manage perform performance tuning on UNIX ETL and Oracle database envir
onments.
Provides input in creating detailed ETL development estimates or change requests
Other responsibilities include enhancement, performance tuning, support of the e
xisting applications, project coordination and prioritization.
Qualifications:
Requires at least 2+ years of hands on experience in Ab Initio tools such as Gra
phical Development Environment (GDE), Enterprise Metadata Environment including
air commands (EME) , and data profiling
2+ years of UNIX scripting, job scheduling tool (Tivoli/TDWB), Oracle SQL and PL
/SQL experience with full development lifecycle from inception through implement
ation
Troubleshooting, Programming, Organizational and Abstract Thinking Skills is a M
ust.
Knowledge of scheduling tools such as IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler, Control M,
AutoSys, etc.
Prior experience with Informatica is a plus but not required
Excellent English oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated work experience with projects of complex scope
Willingness to work outside of normal business hours in order to coordinate with
US based team
Bachelor s degree in computer science, related field or a combination of related e
xperience and education.
Good working knowledge of data warehouse and database design
Microsoft Office Products and Microsoft Visio
Working knowledge of Excel macros, Perl and Service Now a plus
