Essay about of Renewable energy technologies have improved
dramatically over the last two decades
Taking into account that the energy is one of the problems that arise in the
world, what we do or fail to do will determine our ability to meet the energy
requirements of the country in the future. In the world, the emerging
countries such as China, India, Brazil and Mexico and the least developed
countries needed for their development to have access to the sources of
modern energies such as electricity and fuels due to the great demand of
the population and the economy of the country.
Regarding Ecuador, renewable energy technology have dramatically
improved in recent decades, due to the high crisis now affecting the country
and in general, the whole world due to various factors that influence directly
on it, like the economy and thus, the acquisition of high technologies for the
production of the same.
Wind energy is one of the sources of renewable energy with the highest
growth in the world, due to that occurs to take advantage of the force of
kinetic wind and this is mainly used to produce electrical energy by means
of wind turbines, while the production of solar energy or photovoltaic is not
the continued to implement due to its high cost of installation that leads to
high rates USD 0.40 per kW-h and does not attract foreign investment as
other countries such as Germany, United Kingdom, Greece, Turkey, Canada,
Italy, Malaysia, Spain, USA and Thailand pay rates children that go from USD
0.13 to USD 0.28/kW-h, according to the investigations that have been
undertaken earlier years (CONELEC-Ecuador). Therefore, the project with
solar energy has stopped its production. In relation to wind power in Ecuador
is taking advantage in San Cristobal Island with a capacity of 2.4 and in the
province of Loja in the cerro Villonaco, with an installed power of 16.5 MW. In
addition, is under construction a project on the island of Baltra with a
capacity of 2.25 MW. Where, the equivalent of the energy provided by these
projects can supply the homes of approximately 150 thousand Ecuadorians,
reason by which is taking place later this energy due to its high power
generation and cost of installing the same.

Where the main aim of implementing these kinds of energy sources is to

move the generation with fuels expensive and pollutants such as diesel,
best reason to make investments in "Technology green", and contribute with
the environment and with the heating of the ozone layer, knowing that
renewable energy sources such as biomass, thermonuclear, Wind, these are
characterized by that cause less negative environmental impact on our
environment call clean energy. The mitigation of climate change and the use
of renewable energies to the shift in the consumption of fossil fuels.
Finally, with regard to the industries I agree with sanctions taxd by their high
emissions of CO2 in this way to create awareness in them and concerning
the vehicles do not agree to be banned in the year 2020 the sale of fuels
because it is very short term to promote and raise awareness really to
humanity to move fuel and pollutants such as diesel, using hybrid vehicles
and hybrid electric.
Concluding that the alternative energies are indispensable for living in the
present and in the not too distant future, because the fossil resources are
being depleted more quickly and the population is growing rapidly, therefore
the energy is almost impossible that all have it. In addition, pollution has
increased in recent years, it should implement these alternative energies
such as renewables with urgency, because if it is currently has technology
and sufficient capital to take this only that is busy on other things of less
interest.
