CELLANATE M

A Polymeric Isocyanate Based On MDI

Cellanate M is a diisocyanato diphenyl methane (MDI) based composition

containing some higher functionality isocyanates.
It is recommended for various foam applications in the insulation, buoyancy,
automotive and packaging industries. In particular, it is widely used for the
manufacture of refrigerators, supermarket display cabinets, spray-applied
insulation, marine buoys, automotive internal structural parts and decorative
imitation wood products.
All isocyanates should be treated with respect and the relevant health and safety
advice can be found in the appropriate Material Safety Data Sheet.

Please note
1) Cellanate M must always be stored at the correct temperature (15-25C)
2) Isocyanate must only be used in areas with sufficient ventilation or appropriate local
extraction. Suitable protective clothing, including eye/face protection must be worn.
3) Spillages should be cleaned by trained personnel only. Those dealing with major
spillages should wear full protective clothing, including respiratory protection.
4) Whilst every effort is made to ensure its accuracy, the data held on this sheet is meant
for informational purposes only. The typical properties listed are the result of extensive
laboratory tests, but since IFS Chemicals Ltd has no control over the end use of each
material, we cannot guarantee these results are obtained in practice. Users should
conduct their own tests to determine the suitability of each material to its intended
application.

ENVIROFOAM 16.235
A Fire Retardant Water Blown Polyurethane Foam
for In-situ and Buoyancy Applications.

Envirofoam 16.235 is designed for applications where good flow and even
density distribution are required, and is of low/medium viscosity for ease of
mixing with Cellanate M isocyanate.
Applications include insulation for buoyancy applications and general filling of
voids. Envirofoam 16.235 can be machine or hand mixed, and has a 1:1
volumetric ratio.
Envirofoam 16.235 is available in 25 and 200kg nett drums.
Both resin and isocyanate are sensitive to moisture and should be stored in a
dry environment. Partly used containers should be resealed immediately after
use. Envirofoam 16.235 has a minimum shelf life of three months when stored
at temperatures below 30C.

PROCESSING
The two components can be mixed by hand or through a suitable polyurethane
dispenser. For optimum results the components should be conditioned at 20oC
during processing.
