DAR 02 awards plaques of recognition to successful ARBOs

Cheers and Yells were heard all over Ilagan amphitheater as the second day
of ARBO Investment Summit have arrived to its highlight, the awarding of
plaques to successful DAR assisted Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries
Organizations (ARBOs).
DAR Region 02 awarded plaques of recognition to its outstanding ARB
Organization through the leadership of Regional Director Atty Marjorie P.
Ayson. The agency acknowledges the efforts of its ARBs in order to have
sustainable and well managed organizations.
The awards were divided into two categories the Cooperative and the
Association Category. Under Cooperative category the awards were
separated to four different levels; from Micro to Large Cooperatives.
DAR Provincial Offices screened their respective ARBOs and take into
consideration the cooperatives managerial skills; their financial
management as well as business operations handling.
Aside from that, special awards were also given to the most sustained and
maintained; Post Harvest Facility, Potable water Supply, Irrigation and
Communal irrigation for the past three to five years of turn-over.
RD Ayson along with DAREA National President Nannette Pascual led the
awarding of plaques. We are very proud to our ARBOs here in Region 02. We
can see that they are passionate and dedicated in managing their
organizations, rest assured that if they are serious in uplifting their way of life
we are also serious in helping them achieve their full potential in
agripreneurship, RD Ayson said.
Also present during the awarding ceremonies were; Adir. III for Operations
Jessbeth Quidasol, Adir.III for Support to Operations, Paramon Furigay, PARPO
II Virgilio Acasili, Cagayan-Batanes, PARPO II Primo Lara, Nueva Vizcaya,
PARPO II Engr. Arthur Faeldon, Quirino and PARPO I Lucille Busog of Isabela.
The two-day summit was held at Ilagan Amphitheater, Capitol Grounds
Ilagan City, Isabela.
