VOLUME I, FALL 2016.

MESSAGE FROM APOSTOLIC NUNCIO TO CANADA, SUA ECCELLENZA LUIGI BONAZZI, Representative of
Pope Francis and Vatican Ambassador to Canada.
Grazie, caro Giorgio Nchumbonga Lekelefac. Ho guardato e letto con piacere i
Bollettini, che immagino siano frutto di impegno e di desiderio di tener vivo lo
spirito di amicizia tra gli studenti della St.Paul University. Bravo.

Italian Apostolic Nuncio with Italian Coordinator.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE GROUP OF ST PAUL STUDENTS

Congratulations for this initiative. This is a very exciting opportunity for our students. Blessings! Dr. Chantal
Beauvais, Rector of St Paul University, Ottawa. Comment on the 3rd of March, 2016 and 20th April, 2016.

Caro Professore George Nchumbonga, Siamo noi che La ringraziamo per il Suo contributo alla promozione e alla

The Italian Group is great additions to Saint Paul University. They bring to light the rich diversity and
unity of the student population in getting to know each other through sharing of knowledge and celebrating their cultures. I wish them all the very best in their current and future activities as they enrich student
experience. Vivianne Khayat, Registrar, Office of Admission, Registrar and Student Services

I certainly encourage our students to participate in the Italian Language group in order to get to know each other
better and broaden ones perspective. It is important to be sensitive to other ways of expressing ideas and understanding of the world we live in. We say that we are as many times humans as many Languages we know. Blessings+ Andrzej Jastrzebski OMI, PhD, Aumonier/Chaplain Service de Pastorale / Pastoral Service, Universit
Saint-Paul / Saint Paul University

George provides an informal learning environment where students can feel relaxed and at ease -- important for students learning a new language. I learned much about the Italian language and had fun at that the same time. It was a
great break from my regular studies. George this is a great opportunity not just for international students. Try to have
it included for all new students. Sue Gray, Professor at the Faculty of Theology, St. Pauls University, Ottawa.

I am very excited by our Italian student language groups here at Saint Paul University, where students can converse in Italian. They are a wonderful opportunity for students to pick up a language new to them, or to share one
they already know; through the process they are all about students teaching students. They also tell us about the
cultural diversity at Saint Paul University, and how it draws students from all over the world. Get involved, and let
us hear your voice! Mr. Steve Zytveld, Emeritus President of St Paul Student Association.

The Italian Language Group has shown tremendous amount of involvement by organizing consistent activities,
cultural specific events and dinners at the end of school year. I notice that both clubs have been successful at engaging a multitude of students and providing medium for students to socialize and learn at the same time. They organized a dinner at the end of school year, in which, they successfully invited the Venezuelan Ambassador of Canada.
The dinner was a huge success and the main aim of this group is to teach Italian to students which was being
through consistent meets during the regular school year. An efficient group!. Mrigank Kaushal, Vp internal of St.
Paul Student Association.

As Emeritus VP internal of SPUSA, one of our team objectives was to create an environment where every student
felt included, and part of the student body. The Italian Language Groups aim to create a safe environment for
students from all over the world, to share and learn from each other experiences by also exercising their leadership
and teaching other students who might be interested in learning or practicing new languages. Lydie Honorine
Ujeneza, Emeritus VP internal of SPUSA

The Italian Language group on campus is a great way to connect with other student while learning the language of
your choice. Most of all, these classes that are adapted to your level and are completely free! What a great way to
learn about other cultures and how to say Bongiorno and others! Claudia Beaudry, Staff at St Paul University
Student's Association office.

I believe that the Italian Language group brings a sense of diversity to Saint-Paul University. They are part of
the reason why many of our student can call our campus "home". I also believe our students greatly appreciate
having a group of people they can relate to and share the knowledge and history they have in common. On that
note, I wish that our students continue to join groups that are important to the blossoming of their culture. It is
with great initiative like these that we are able to diminish cultural barriers. Sbastien Larocque, President of
the St. Paul Student Association.
