Pre-Application Checklist

1. Technical Requirements
Internet Explorer (7.0 and up) or Firefox (2.0 and up) with JavaScript enabled.
2. A valid email account
All correspondences related to your application will be sent to this email address including your login
user ID and password.
3. Documents required
The list of documents you will require are

Highest certificate and transcript (documents in non-English Language must be translated and
notarized by an attorney)
Detailed course/subject synopsis for credit exemption applications. File must be saved in one
single document.
Proof of English language proficiency e.g. IELTS/TOEFL, or Medium of Instruction proof etc.
Passport copy for international students
NRIC copy for domestic students
Completed authorization form for agent submitting on behalf of applicant
Completed referral form for students referred by existing students or alumni of JCU Singapore
Passport-sized photo in the following format:
- file saved in a JPEG format and file size should be approximately 60 Kbytes
- in colour taken against plain white background without shadows;
- taken within the last 3 months
- show the full face and without headgear (headgear worn in accordance with
religious or racial customs is acceptable but must not hide the facial features)

Saving your documents


The system accepts documents in the following format - pdf, doc, docx, and jpg image files. Files
uploaded in other formats cannot be read and will delay the assessment of your application. The
maximum file size is 5Mb per document. All file names must be in English and describe the nature of
the document e.g. Academic Qualification.pdf.
How to Apply
1. In order to register your online account you will need the following:
Your personal particulars
A valid email address and at least one phone details
Your address, citizenship and residency, cultural, any disability, and highest level of
past study details
Agree to the application conditions and declaration
Once the above steps have completed, the system will send an email with your login user ID and
password to the email address which you have provided.
2. Applying for course
Choose your preferred course and intake
Provide your residential status in Singapore
Provide your English Language proficiency and academic background information

Apply for credit exemption and attach subject synopsis where applicable
Provide emergency contact details
Provide agent or referrals information and attach the relevant document where
applicable
Applicant submission declaration
Complete the online application

The online application should take 10 to 20 minutes to complete. Upon successful registration, your
registration details will be sent to you via email.

Follow up on Application Status


Once you have submitted your online application, you can track your status by logging into eStudent
using the user name and password emailed to you at the time of registration. Use the link which is
provided in your registration email.
