If the cut is small, wash it out with soap and water. Do NOT clean a large wound.
After putting on clean latex gloves, apply firm pressure to the wound with a folded cloth
or bandage for about 10 minutes. Do not remove the bandage to look at the wound
during this time, as it may begin bleeding again. If blood soaks through, add another
cloth or bandage and continue holding pressure on the cut for an additional 10 minutes.
When bleeding has stopped, tape a clean bandage or apply liquid bandage, over the
cut.

Excavation observation
Proposed residence
Lot 19 South Fork Subdivision
Approximately 2000 E 1750 N
Morgan, Utah 84050
Project Number 123456789
Previous Study:
Earthtech Testing and Engineering, P.C. previously conducted a geological study for the Ivory
Homes Development Group Inc. and presented their findings and recommendations in a report
dated August 13, 2015 under job number 159753.
Proposed Construction:
We understand that the proposed structure will be a one or two-story single family dwelling
constructed of wood framing with a basement. Assuming the grade around the structure will not
be raised more than 2 feet above the current ground surface. The client indicate that the
subsurface footing perimeter drain system is planned for the residence.
Observations:
A representative of Riverside Geotechnical Engineering visited the site on June 13 and 21, 2016.
The following conditions were observed.
June 13, 2016
The north edge of the building area had been excavated. The excavated area extends up to
approximately 10 feet below the surrounding ground surface. The soil in the sides of
the excavated area consists of approximately three to four feet of fill and or topsoil
overlying natural clay and silty sand. The soil in the base of the excavated are consists of
clay and silty sand.
June 21, 2016
The basement footing excavation extends approximately 2 to 10 feet below the
surrounding ground surface. The soil in the sides of the basement footing excavation
consists of up to approximately 4 feet of fill and /topsoil overlying the natural clay to silty
sand. The soil in the base of the basement excavation consists of natural silty sand, exept
for a localized area of fill in the southeast portion. Riverside Geotechnical Engineering
observed as the excavator removed the fill in the southeast corner of the basement footing
excavation. The excavation to remove the fill material extends approximately 2 feet
below the proposed footing bearing elevation. Based on the discussion with the client, we
understand the footings in this area will be stepped down to bear in the undisturbed
natural soil exposed in the base of the deeper excavation.
The garage excavation area is located on the northeast portion of the structure. The
basement footing excavation extends approximately 5 to 10 feet below the surrounding
ground surface. The east section of the garage excavation is approximately 3 feet higher
in elevation than the other sides. The soil in the sides of the garage footing excavation
consist of approximately 3 feet of fill and /or topsoil overlying natural clayey to silty
sand. The soil in the base of the garage footing excavation consists of naturally silty sand.
The fill in the sides of the excavation generally consists of sandy lean clay and silty to clayey
sand. The fill is slightly moist to moist and brownish gray. The natural sand contains small to
moderate amounts of clay and/or silt and is medium dense, slightly moist to moist and brown to
brownish gray.
No water was in the base of the footing excavations at the time of our site visits.
