DEACON ELECTION
We will have a special called business meeting following
both morning services this Sunday for the purpose of electing
deacons. The following men who were nominated by the
church and have agreed to serve, will be voted on: Doug
Collins, Chip Hall, Harold Fleshman, Bo Jones, Wesley
Pelham, and Rufus Powell. In accordance with our
Constitution and By-Laws, this will be a all or none vote.
ICE CREAM SOCIAL
There will be an ice cream social on August 7th following the
evening worship service. We need volunteers to make
homemade ice cream. If you cant make ice cream maybe you
could make a cake or cookies to go with the ice cream. Invite
friends and prospects to join us as we fellowship together.

SAINTS ALIVE BEGINS THIS MONDAY

A new year of Saints Alive resumes on August 8. The
Saints Alive Choir is open to singers of all experience
levels who enjoy praising the Lord, and are not ashamed
to do it! Church membership is not a requirement, either.
Some singers have been quoted as saying We have a
great time in Saints Alive every week. And, sometimes
we sing! The new music for our annual Senior Adult
Choir Festival is special! Two dates are available for the
Festival in Toccoa this year. Bring your calendars
Monday, so we can decide which one works best for us.
Bring a friend and come into His presence with singing,
and into His courts with praise!

CHILDRENS CHOIRS BEGIN AUGUST 17

Our scheduled kickoff date for our graded choirs is
Wednesday, August 17. Schools are back in session and
we have an exciting year of music and praise in store for
each of our children. Choirs meet from 5:45 to 6:25 each
Wednesday evening.

COOPER HOUSE NEEDS

The two story house located just beside the Sanctuary,
known as the Cooper House, is slated for removal or
demolition. If you know of anyone who might be
interested in owning house and moving it to a location of
their choice, please call the church office.
Special thanks to all church staff and committee members
for you prompt help in emptying the building of church
property. We appreciate your hard work!

Early & Extended Session

2016-2017
We are on the lookout for individuals and families that will join us as
we serve during our services. We need people for both Early and
Extended and age groups Babies-2s and 3s-5s. If you are willing to
serve, please let Stacey know!

School begins this week for all of our Bainbridge

middle and high school students. I hope and pray
that everyone has a wonderful first day! We will be
getting back to our school time schedule on
Wednesday nights over the next couple of weeks.
During the month of August we will be meeting on
Wednesday at 6:30. Please make note that we will
begin serving supper on Wednesday nights beginning
September 7th.

AWANA

Sunday, August 14 @ 5:30 pm

Please consider helping in our AWANA program this year! We have
several positions that need filled. Some are even more administrative
and don't require teaching. Start praying if God would have you serve
our church family in this way.
