Some that watch wonders happen 3. Some that wonders, what happen?
The role of civil engineering is extremely important as it equates for the
overall safety of society in many different ways.
Today, we will take a look at the life of one of our own agustinian student
and see how its like to be and engineer student.
Lets Nickname him dale. For him, the field of engineering is not strange,
his father and his favourite uncle are engineers and had influenced him in
choosing his career. His father was not able to pass the board exam and
he will do his best to make a change in that, to make his parents proud.
He said, I like math, math is my favourite subject since elementary. Dale
has a strong perseverance, he wakes up early each day and though most
of his friends goes out and stay late after school, he prefers to go home
early because he knows he has a responsibility to be conditioned for
school the next day. In his subjects, it is important not to miss one topic
from class because the lessons are connected, you wont be able to
understand the next lesson if you miss the previous one. That is why he is
determined to always be present in class.
It is better to study here in Iloilo Im closer to my family and away from
the bad influences of friends said dale. My special talent are singing and
dancing. I dance for past time and is my outlet for pressure in school and
if I have problems he said. Dancing has taken me to many places and
different hip-hop competition he said. In manila dale have competed in
ASAP and won many awards. Here in Iloilo, he dances for school
competition and had won 1st runner-up in PRISAA competition. Dale said
he also performs if there are school activities.
Engineering is a 5 year course it is important that I do well in school while
I also enjoy my young adult life he said. He said, when he graduates he
will work for his uncles company and get a field experience before he
takes the board exam and hopefully work abroad.
He said, Whatever happens and where ever life takes me it is important
for me to graduate and get my diploma it is not just for my family but for
myself to do something great in life.
