Every Angel Needs Wings

Mahannare Addamula Harris-Cosby, the beloved

daughter of the late Robert Harris and Christine Harris,
was born on February 5, 1975 in Oceanside, California.
She departed this life on July 28, 2016, at University
Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio.

The Processional...Clergy

Every angel needs wings. She earned hers here

they took her there home to walk with Jesus

Mahannarre accepted Christ at an early age and was

baptized at Corinthian Baptist Church in Newport,
Kentucky. She later became a member at New Hope
Christian Center where she was married to Dorien
Cosby. She remained a member in good standing at
New Hope until her passing.
Mahannare leaves not to mourn but to cherish her
memories: her mother, Mary Carter; husband, Dorien
Cosby; daughters, Myonshia Harris and Dorian Cosby;
sons, Jahmaree Cosby, Emonie Cosby and Naum
Cosby; cousin, Jamesha Nellum; grandchildren, Naamiya
Bandy and Naamirre McGruder; siblings, Ronald Carter,
Kamaron Barber, Mercedes Harris and Yusuf Harris;
nieces and nephews, Precious Carter, Sha'ron SimpsonCarter, Kyron Carter and Gavyn Dodds, a host of other
family members and friends.

You may think it was too early and too soon. It

was God's purpose and plan for her to do. She
came to us so small, we never knew her heart
would be the biggest out of us all.
In some way she touched everyone's life that she
knew.
If you have a story to share, it's true, as she
walks with Jesus telling Him "This is what you
need to do." Know she earned her wings right
here with me and you.

My sister, you're my forever friend, our love so strong

until the end. You have been there for me through thick
and thin. I pull my strength from your heart within. In
childhood dreams we laughed and danced. On the
stage of hope is where we took our chance, through
good times and bad, we have seen them all. You have
been there to catch me all the times I fall. I knew our
friendship would never go south. So here we are never
far from each other, our bond of love will never be
broken. My sister, my friend, I've known from the start, I
love you forever with all of my heart.
