Preventive dentistry is our goal for every patient. It involves the daily care, good nutrition, and periodic
checkups and cleanings that maintain good dental health already achieved.
Restorative dentistry is basic repair of the mouth. We mend broken or leaking fillings, build crowns and
bridges, place and maintain implants, fit partial and full dentures, realign your bite. Where necessary,
gum disease is treated, or root canal therapy recommended.
The prevailing belief behind restorative dentistry is a simple one: you keep all your teeth for all your
life.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Cosmetic dentistry has come of age with new high-tech procedures that make a beautiful smile
accessible to everyone. Dental technology, balanced with an eye for esthetics, can bring dramatic
results: mend a chip here, lighten a discoloration there, close up gaps these procedures are, for the
most part, conservative and comfortable.
We'll be happy to explain our cosmetic services to you. We happen to think everyone deserves the
best of all possible smiles.
Our Equipment
We're proud of our investment in the latest dental technology, especially as it contributes to our
patients' well-being. We've installed digital x-ray units and computers with patient monitors in each
treatment room. This latest technology allows us to reduce x-ray exposure and still give us the
maximum diagnostic capabilities. And our intra-oral camera allows you to see, better than ever, the
state of your own dental health so you can better understand your needs.
Our Safety
Our commitment to your health involves more than quality dentistry. In light of today's heightened
awareness, we've established a sterilization program designed to ensure the safety of both patients and
staff. You'll probably notice our masks and gloves, but there's more to it than that. Every procedure
requires all instruments to be pre-sterilized and disposed of when completed. We're proud to insist on
the highest safety protocols.
Dental Insurance
We have prepared this section to help you better understand the complexities of dental insurance; we
realize how confusing it can be. To begin we would like to highlight a misconception- dental
insurance was not designed to pay for all dental care. Most contracts have limits and/or various
degrees of co-payment.
All levels of payment by insurance companies, including allowed fees, usual and customary, are
governed by the premiums paid. They have nothing to do with the actual charges. Our fees are based
upon a combination of our costs, our time, and our constant dedication to supplying our patients with
the highest quality dental care. The treatment recommended by our office is never based on what your
insurance company will pay; your treatment should not be governed by your insurance contract.
However, it should be understood, that the dental insurance contract is between the insurance
company and the patient, whom bears the ultimate financial responsibility.
Patient Education
To aid our patients in their dental education we have embedded a few video links on dental topics.

Bonding
Single Implant Procedure
All-Porcelain Bridges
The Goal of Esthetic Dentistry
Resin Filling Restoration Procedure
Veneers
Invisalign Adult Procedure
Diagnosing Wisdom Teeth
Oral Conscious Sedation Procedure
All-Porcelain Crowns
Dental bonding is a dental procedure in which a dentist applies a tooth-colored resin material (a
durable plastic material) and hardens it with a special light. This ultimately "bonds" the material to the
tooth and improves the overall appearance of teeth
Cosmetic Recontouring
Cosmetic Dental Recontouring is a process used to correct minor chips and wear in teeth. It can also
be used to improve a patient's dental health by removing crevices or overlaps wherein plaque or tartar
has accumulated.
Implants
Implants are simply metal posts with a false tooth on top. They are integrated into a patient's jawbone
fusing together with the bone over time to form a strong, long-lasting replacement tooth.
Bridges
Dental Bridges are used to span, or bridge a gap (missing teeth) between healthy teeth. The bridge is
attached to the living, health teeth and fills the missing tooth space.
Tooth-colored fillings are made from durable plastics called composite resins. Similar in color and
texture to natural teeth, the fillings are less noticeable, and much more attractive, than other types of
fillings.
Veneering
Veneers are a very thin outer shell of ceramic, or a poly-ceramic material placed on the tooth surface.
Veneers are a conservative application of cosmetic dentistry where reducing or reshaping the natural
tooth's structure is minimal. Veneers can however result in a very positive improvement to a person's
smile.
Whitening (Bleaching)
Whitening of the teeth is performed for patients who desire a brighter smile. Tooth whitening can be
performed to reduce discoloration and staining, or simply to provide the patient with whiter, brighter
teeth.
Invisalign Braces
Having a confident smile can change everything. And Invisalign makes the decision easy, because
you can get a great and healthy smile without most people even noticing you're going through
treatment.
Wisdom Teeth
Wisdom teeth, also referred to as the "third molars", are as important as other teeth, but more prone to
problems during their eruption (breaking through the gum tissue). Since wisdom teeth are the last to
erupt usually between the ages of 17 and 21 there often is little room left in the mouth.
Sleep Sedation
Sedation dentistry treatments should be performed under the guidance of a dentist and staff
specifically trained in sedation procedures. In the case of oral conscious sedation, for example, such
training typically involves between 18 and 25 hours of education.
All-Porcelain Crown
During the last decade, the term smile design has gradually become commonly used in the ever
more popular field of esthetic dentistry. But what does smile design actually mean?
