The Graduate Scholarship Request System

The Graduate Scholarship Request System is primarily set up as a database to help organize
graduate students scholarship information. At present, the database system are provided by graduate
studys staffs from each faculty with a simple way to examine, edit and submit all types of graduate student
scholarship requests to the Graduate School. Furthermore, relevant students information can be connected
between various university sections, e.g. Faculty, Registrars Division, Financial Office, Graduate School,
etc. As graduate students, the system will enable student to submit an online request for the various
scholarships available, follow the status of their request and the scholarship allocation process, and access
to information on all the scholarships they have received. It is our hopes that this system will be of benefit to
all those involved.

Step by step to apply for the Graduate School Financial Support for Thesis
1. Access the Graduate Scholarship Request System at http://www.grad.psu.ac.th/intranet/scholarship/

2. Click "Login" menu

3. Login using PSU Passport.

4. Click on the button Apply for PSU.GS Financial Support for Thesis (Fig. 3).

5. Check whether your Student ID/Name and Study curriculum are correct (Fig. 4). If not, contact the
graduate study staff at your faculty to have it modify.
6. Fill in the following information :
- Your email address and telephone number
- Research proposal title
(NOTE: If you have submitted the GS1 and GS2 forms to the Graduate School, your research
proposal title and major advisor name will be automatically shown in the space provided.)
- Disciplines of Excellence Strategy (Fig. 5)

Your major advisor name, email address and telephone number (You can search for your advisor
name by typing in the first few letters of the name and click on Search advisors name button to
browse and select (Fig. 6).)

7. Choose the type of your research and level of study (Fig. 7).

8. Click the save button at the bottom of the screen upon completion of all the required fields and you
will be directly back to the Scholarship Request Information page.

9. On homepage, you will be able to check your request status, look at the details, edit the details of
your request and download research proposal form by clicking on the required link (Fig. 8).
10. Student must then download the Research Proposal Submitted for Thesis Financial Support Form,
complete and have the form signed by the major thesis advisor before submitting it to their faculty.
11. Student will be able to edit their request when the status shows Students Request. (NOTE: There
are 4 levels of status shown: Students Request, Received and Waiting Approval of the Faculty,
Submitted to the Graduate School, and Waiting Approval of Scholarship.)

12. After the scholarship is allocated to student, the information will be shown under the section
Scholarship Allocation Info. (Fig. 9).
13. Student must then download Proof of Receipt Form and "Agreement of Graduate School
Dissertation Funding for Thesis", complete the form before submitting it to their faculty.
14. Under the section Scholarship Allocation Info., student can also click on the name of each
scholarship to view the detail information.
