NOTICE
It is for general information that for the purpose of carrying out tests, examination,
inspection & certification for building, plant, hoists & lifts, lifting machines and lifting tackles,
pressure vessels as required under the Factories Act & Rules, made there under the following persons
are recognized as Competent Person in respect of section mentioned against their names for the period
from 1st January, 2016 to 31st December, 2016. This has been approved by the Govt. vide Govt. letter
No.GLR.15/2002/Pt-II/111, Dt.21.01.2016.

insist on the identity card of the Competent Persons.

fortnightly report to the Chief Inspector of Factories, Assam giving details of the test
certificates etc. issued within the period, if no test is carried out in particular fortnight, nil
report shall be submitted to the Chief Inspector of Factories, Assam as per enclosed
prescribed format. They are also to furnish an authenticity certificate from the Manager of the
factory that he visited the factory on specified date and performed the specified test.
11. All the Competent Persons recognized under section 6 & 112. They are to fill up and submit
the enclosed annexure in respect of examination of stability of building, plant & machinery of
the factory to the Chief Inspector of Factories, Assam, alongwith the stability certificate for
acceptance of the undersigned.
