SAP and Network connection Test

If user complains that he/she cannot access SAP then please perform below basic
test to isolate the problem.
1. Ping Test:
Open command prompt
C:\>ping 198.1.1.25 and check whether will get response from the system.
If there is no ping response from the system then perform the below test.
2. Trace route Test
In command prompt enter the below command.
C:\>tracert 198.1.1.25
Check where the hop is stopped.
If ping test is successful then perform the below test.
3. Telnet Test
In command prompt
C:\>telnet 198.1.1.25 3200
Please send all above test results to HQ MIS.
