THE DAY AFTER ARMAGEDDON
CHANGE IN MARRIAGE NORMS
And in that day seven women shall
take hold of one man, saying, We will
eat our own bread, and wear our
own apparel: only let us be called by
thy name, to take away our
reproach.(Isa 4:1)
1. Some say this is still a part of chapter
3, under the judgment of God.
2. A prophecy of what will happen to a
future Israel in the future world after
Armageddon
3. Not a permission or decree that it
should be acceptable morally today.
4. A mere statement that such things
would happen to future women
because of the scarcity of men after
the Armageddon war.
5. Women who wouldnt want to suffer
reproach for being single, would
consider such a 7:1 arrangement.

6. Women would be the one to approach

the man.
7. Why is this significant?
a. It shows that even in the future
world, human nature has not
changed.
b. Women still desire to be wives
and mothers.
c. That whatever modern law may
decree, women will still change
their surname to be under a
mans surname.
d. That in the future world,
singleness and barrenness is
considered a reproach.
e. It will be acceptable practice
socially for a woman to work
independently although she has
a husband. Providing for seven
womens needs or seven families
is what stops a man even if
polygamy is allowed, from
considering it. But with this
declaration that they will be their
own providers, then the barrier
is taken away.

f. Changes in womens values and

marriage patterns always happen
after wars, and social upheavals.
The millennial age will follow the
same pattern.
WHAT A GRACIOUS GOD WE HAVE
Although He judges severely His people;
(a) judgment on earth has an end; (b)
judgment on earth does not totally wipe
out the race under judgment; (c) always
after the judgment comes blessing.
CHANGE IN RULER
In that day shall the branch of the
LORD be beautiful and glorious,

1. Christ will come down to the mount of

olives and become King of Kings. He
shall be called The Branch of the
Lord. Jer_23:5, Jer_33:15, Zec_6:12
2. He will wear his regal robes and
crowns so he will be beautiful and

glorious. He is also beautiful because

of holiness. (Psalm 29:2)
3. Together with him are survivors from
the Armageddon. Israelites who
escaped death shall have good lives
with the King of Israel.
CHANGE IN FOOD PRODUCTION
and the fruit of the earth shall be
excellent and comely for them that
are escaped of Israel. (Isa 4:2)
4. God will make the organic fruit of the
earth to be of excellent taste, smell,
appearance. No more shortcut
techniques of mass production,
genetically modified, chemically
induced, faked weight fruit of the
earth.
CHANGE IN WORLD STATURE
And it shall come to pass, that he that
is left in Zion, and he that remaineth
in Jerusalem, shall be called holy,

even every one that is written among

the living in Jerusalem:(Isa 4:3)
1. There will be a book of the living. A
national statistics office which
registers the exact name of people
who are alive.
2. Each of them who are on that list shall
have the title HOLY.
3. This is because of their proximity to
the King of kings who dwells in that
city. (Ex. 3:5)

CHANGE IN LIFESTYLE
When the Lord shall have washed away
the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall
have purged the blood of Jerusalem from
the midst thereof by the spirit of
judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
(Isa 4:4)
1. The Lord takes away the filth of the
city both spiritual and physical
(blood)

2. The Lord teaches and imparts the

spirit of judgment and the spirit of
burning to the city dwellers.
3. The city dwellers will be called HOLY,
not just as a title but a real holy way of
life, speech, thought.
4. Thru the leadership of the BRANCH,
they will be full of wisdom,
discernment, and they will know how
to purge themselves from ungodliness
CHANGE IN HOME ENVIRONMENT
And the LORD will create upon every dwelling
place of mount Zion, and upon her assemblies, a
cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a
flaming fire by night: for upon all the glory shall
be a defence.(Isa 4:5)
Each house shall have CLIMATE CONTROL
Covered by a cloud to provide cool air; smoke to
shield eyes and skin from harmful UV rays; with
automatic lighting and heat provided in cold
winter nights.
Each house easily defended because they are
enclosed by the glory of God
CHANGE IN CITY ENVIRONMENT
And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in
the daytime from the heat, and for a place of
refuge, and for a covert from storm and from
rain.(Isa 4:6)

The city will be covered by material

which will dampen high

temperatures; and a strong structure

that will shield the city from strong
storms and high rainfall.
CLINCHER: We who are alive today
who are in Christ, will not be natural
men in that day. We will be
resurrected saints. What about you?
