Course Description: The business interpretation in relation to the mathematical tools is the
major concentration of this course. The subject covers some key mathematical topics widely
used in business, such as functions and equations, matrices, differential and integral calculus.
As well as giving the students in these topics the course focuses on how to interpret and
solve business-related word problems and to develop simple mathematical models from a
business perspective. The course provides step-by-step guidance through sample problems
and solutions related to business and economics.

Objectives: On successful completion of this course, students should be able to:
Apply mathematical skills to business applications.
Integrate the mathematical principles with their everyday business.
Solve business problems stated in words that involve matrix, function, differentiation
and integration.
Interpret and solve business related problems and to develop simple mathematical
models from a business perspective.
