TITLE : A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES


CONTEXT : Five people talk about historical
inaccuracies in films.
AIMS : To teach students the foreign language
through various tasks. To focus on the meaning of
the words. To become familiar with grammatical
phenomena avoiding extensive theory parts.
OBJECTIVES : Students develop writing and
reading skills. Recycle their previous knowledge.
They learn new vocabulary and grammar related to
the text. They develop IT skills (become familiar
with the PC and they learn to use the Internet in a
right way).
METHODS TO BE USED : Personal computers,
Inductive (using particular facts and examples to
form general rules and principles)./ Task Based
Learning.
ANTICIPATED PROBLEMS : Some students might
not remember how to form the gerund, or the
Causative form. If such a problem arises Teacher
uses this as an opportunity for classification and
revision. Some other students might spend a lot of
time to do the exercises on the PC because they do
not have one at home in order to practice.
