TCI 10K Mechanical Set Double Grip Retrievable Packer

The TCI 10K is a multi-purpose double grip, retrievable packer. This mechanically set packer can be used in any production
application. It is also well suited for treating, testing and injecting in shallow to deep pumping or flowing wells. The
packer features a large internal bypass to reduce swabbing when running or retrieving. The bypass closes when the
packer is set and opens before releasing the upper slip to allow for pressure equalization. The packer is designed to
withstand pressure differentials up to 69000 kpa (10000 psi).

Can be landed in tension, compression and neutral
1/4 turn right hand set, right hand release (left hand set/release options available)
Bypass below upper slips to assist in washing debris when the valve is opened

TCI Tubing Anchor/Catcher (TAC)

The TCI TAC is a heavy duty mechanical tool that is designed to anchor the tubing in tension. The anchor/catcher prevents
movement of the tubing during pumping and will hold it stationary should part occur. The anchor also increases pump efficiency
and reduces rod and tubing wear.

TCI CRTA ROTATING TUBING ANCHOR CATCHER

The TCI CRTA Rotating Tubing Anchor Catcher is designed to hold the tubing string in tension
duringrod pump operations. The mandrel of the CRTA is free to rotate through the tool in the set
positionwith tension pulled into the tubing. This allows the entire tubing string, including all tail pipe,
gas/mud anchor, and the seating nipple to rotate. The CRTA is ideal in applications where there isa
great deal of tail pipe below the anchor point. It is also ideal for applications such as highlydeviated
or horizontal wells, the tubing is run into the deviation or the horizontal sections and theanchor point
is in the vertical section of the well.
Description:
The CRTA is a full bore tubing anchor with opposing slips. The bearing system in the tool isengaged
in the set position and allows rotation through the tool. The CRTA is set with turn lefthand rotation
and released with turn right hand rotation. The tool has an emergency shearrelease system. Straight
tension pulled on the tubing string shears the shear system and allows thelower cone to move away
from the slips. The entire tool can then be pulled from the wellbore.

Determine the size of the anchor needed in relation to casing size & weight and tubing size.
Specify the shear vale desired (in 5,000 # intervals).

Emergency Release
Application of tension will shear the screws in the tool. The lower cone bearing, and shear pin
retainer will dropagainst the bottom sub where they will remain as the tool is pulled out of the well.
The pickup shoulder on the mandrel will engage the slip ring and prevent the lower slips from
contacting the lower cone. The slips will ride on thepickup shoulder.

TCI L-2 On-Off Tool

The TCI L-2 is a tubing seal receptacle that allows the isolation of a lower zone using a wire line blanking plug. The tubing
string can be disconnected and removed from the well. When the tubing is re- run the overshot portion of the tool automatically
re engages on the slick joint, when landed.
Features:
Blanking plug seats in the top of the slick joint to prevent build up of debris inside tools.
Bonded seals for reliable sealing and disconnects / re-connects.
Slick joint available with machined profile to accept any common wire line plugs.
Overshot designed to allow for rotation through debris.
J-slot provides for a positive connect or disconnect.
Available with right or left hand release option.

TCI Landing Nipples

The TCI landing nipples are profile subs that feature an internal seal bore and profile to accept a locking device to anchor flow
control accessories. A variety of seal bores and lock profiles are available. Landing nipples are available full opening or with a
no-go restriction to provide a positive stop for a flow control device. Landing nipple are sized to match tubing sizes and can be
run above or below production packer systems to provide varying flow control options in the completion or production string.
Feature:
Nipples designed to accept common wire line flow control devices.

Available in materials to suit a Variety of well conditions. L-80 materials are standard.
Bores are honed to provide for optimum sealing.

TCI Sliding Sleeves

The TCI sliding sleeve is installed in the production tubing string. The sleeve is a device that controls flow or movement of gas
and wellbore fluids between the annulus and the tubing. An internal sleeve which is opened and closed using standard wire line
procedures is utilized. Standard with the profile at the top and a polished bore below the communication ports.

TCI Tubing Tester
The TCI Tubing Tester Sub is designed to allow testing of the tubing string before
beginning high pressure treatments, or before setting a Completion Packer.
It may be placed anywhere in the string and is treated like an ordinary Tubing Coupling or
Cross Over Sub. When at depth, a Phenolic Ball is pumped down to the Tubing Tester and
the tubing pressured up to the required test pressure. After testing the ball is reverse
circulated out of the tubing and operations carried on as usual.
The Tubing Tester is available for all common tubing sizes.
TCI Pump Out Plug

The TCI Pump Out Plug may be used as a temporary plug to facilitate setting of hydraulic
packers. The plug may be manufactured solid or with a hole and ball seat. A ball is dropped
into a seat in the Pump Out Plug, and pressure applied on the tubing to set the packers and
shear out the seat.
This Pump Out Plug is available in all common tubing sizes and threads, with either a Half
Mule Re-Entry Guide down or with a pin down.
TCI WRP Retrievable Bridge Plug

The TCI WRP is a Retrievable bridge plug that can be run on electric wire line or in conjunction with a hydraulic setting tool on
tubing. The plug is a compact, quick running bridge plug that features a three piece element with steel gauge rings. Bi-directional
slips provide simple, affective anchoring to the casing. The pressure equalizing system allows the plug to be unset with a straight
pull.
Features:
Holds pressure from above and below.
Three piece packing element systems provides for reliable, proven performance.
Caged bidirectional slips for maximum performance.
Manufactured from rugged alloy steel for optimum reliability in severe conditions.
Balanced equalizing system.
Pressure equalizes prior to releasing.
Straight pull to release plug.
Optional sand line or coil tubing retrieving (must be indicated to service rip before running).

TCI HMBP Hydro Mechanical Permanent Bridge Plug

The TCI HMBP is a high pressure, cast iron permanent bridge plug. The plug is run on tubing and is design
to set with a combination of hydraulic pressure and mechanical pull. A built is setting tool is designed as
part of the tool for efficiency. The bridge plug is ideal for isolating low pressure zones for temporary and
permanent abandonment, fracturing squeeze cementing. Deviated wellbores are also an ideal use for the
plug.

TCI MSCR Mechanical Set Cement Retainer & TCI WSCR Wire Line Set Cement Retainer
The TCI cement retainer is a compact tool that can be converted from a mechanical set to a wire line set retainer or can be
modified to run as a high pressure bridge plug. The cement retainer is designed for quick and easy drill up and is ideal for deep,

TCI SC Unloader Valve
The full bore SC Unloader allows equalization of tubing and annulus pressures
when run in conjunction with the T Squeeze Packer. It is always
recommended that this Unloader be used when running the T Squeeze Packer.
Downward force opens the Unloader.
TCI T Squeeze Packer
The T Squeeze Packer is a full bore Tension Packer designed specifically for
Squeeze Cementing, Acidizing, Testing or Fracturing operations. The use of
this packer is especially desirable under conditions where the pressure
differential is from below and the use of a Compression Packer is prohibited.
The opposing slips enable the T Squeeze to remain packed off during pressure
reversals.
This Packer uses a dependable three element system to reliably hold high
pressures at high temperatures. A simple adjustment can convert the R-104 to
left hand or right hand set. Normally the SC Unloader Valve is run in
conjunction with the T Squeeze Packer to allow equalization of tubing and
annulus pressures.
Considered the best tension set service packer available it is well suited for
repeated and continuous use under the harshest of conditions.

TCI SR-1 Retrievable Packer
The SR-1 Retrievable Packer is a versatile, full bore, double grip packer used for
stimulation and production testing operations and is especially suited for applications in
deep, high pressure wells.
This packer uses hydraulic hold down slips, operated by pressure from below the packer to
secure the packer in place when high tubing pressures are encountered. A locking
mechanism in the packer keeps the By-Pass closed during high pressure injection operations
TCI SR-2 Retrievable Packer

The SR-2 Retrievable Packer is used in applications where excessive bottom hole pressures
or injection pressures are not expected, and sufficient tubing weight is available to keep the
packer set. This packer is identical to the SR-1 except that it does not use the hydraulic hold
down assembly.

TCI Selective Cup Treating Tool (SCTT)

The TCI SCTT is a cup style selective treating tool. The tool is design for selective acidizing of predetermined perforating
intervals. Interval length can vary from 0.3 m (12) to any desired length by the addition of spacer tubing pup joints. A built in
bypass makes the SCTT easy to run and retrieve. A drag block assembly provides a positive method for controlling the optional
circulating valve. A retrievable dart is used to blank off the lower portion below the stimulation ports.

Used to selectively acidize multiple intervals in a single run.

Heavy duty reinforced casing cups.
Backup cups for increased pressure rating.
Large internal bypass making it easy to run and retrieve.

TCI By-Pass Valve

The TCI By-Pass Valve is a rotational circulating valve designed for use with the TCI
SCTT Selective Tools. This valve opens or closes off communication between the tubing
and the annulus.
The valve is used to bypass tubing fluid when running or retrieving Selective Tools, and if
required can also be used for circulation of fluids.
The By-Pass Valve features a pressure balanced sleeve design which allows for easy
operation of the valve under high differential pressures. Specially designed chemical and
wear resistant seals ensure reliable and trouble free operation.
Exclusive to this valve are the Thrust Bearings which allow for easy operation under
tension or compression loads.
Operation
The By-Pass Valve is opened by rotating 3 turns to the right and closed by rotating 3 turns
to the left.

Drag Assembly
TCI Drag Assembly

The Drag Assembly is designed with Drag Blocks and Inconel Springs. It is commonly
run with Selective Acidizing equipment to anchor the bottom hole assembly, thus enabling
torque transmission to rotational valves.
The centralizing effect of the Drag Assembly increases tool life, especially in Cup Type
Acid Tools.
TCI Collar Locator
The Mechanical Casing Collar Locator provides a simple and reliable method of locating
Casing Collars with the Tubing String to correlate the tubing depth to the logged depth.
This tool is commonly run with Selective Acidizing Tool assemblies to locate the
perforation depth.
The Collar Locator is installed as an integral part of the Tubing String. To operate properly
it must be installed above any Drag Block Assemblies or tools using Drag Blocks or Springs.
The Collar Locator is designed to indicate the collars when moving the tubing up. Spring
loaded pads on the Locator expand into the recess of the Casing Coupling. The additional
force required to collapse the pads again in order to pass through the coupling, is indicated
at surface.
The tubing may be rotated freely through the Collar Locator without having to rotate the
pads in the casing.

TCI B Hydraulic Setting Tool
The B Hydraulic Setting Tool is used to run and set on Tubing, Coiled Tubing or Drill Pipe
most packers which are normally set on wire line. It is especially applicable for use in
deviated wells where it is not practical to run the tools on wire line or in situations where a
Wireline Unit is not available.
The B Setting Tool uses a bottom connection identical to the Baker E-4 Pressure Setting
Assemblies. It is uniquely designed so additional piston sections may be added in order to
lower the required setting pressure.
This Setting Tool uses the same adapters for running as are used with a Baker E-4 Wire
line Setting Tool.
The B Setting Tool is run into the desired setting depth and the ball is dropped to the ball
seat in the tool. (When used on Coiled Tubing the ball is run in place). Sufficient pressure is
applied to set and pack off the packer. The pressure or combination of pressure and tubing
tension, then shears the Shear Stud or Ring, freeing the Setting Assembly from the packer.
The Setting Tool will automatically drain the Tubing String as it is being pulled.
