About Me
I am confident, outgoing and prepared to work hard while travelling the world.
Since graduating university in 2013 I have worked in education in Thailand, Australia and the UK. I find teaching as enjoyable as it is
rewarding, the insatiable energy of the children in Thailand kept me on my toes and the last-minute-attitude and unpredictability of the
Thai people I worked for mean that I have learnt to be flexible and take things in my stride when faced with any challenge. I especially
enjoyed sharing my knowledge of the job that I love with TEFL trainees and providing support and counselling for homesickness and
culture adjustment. My role as a TEFL trainer required me to be a motivator, keeping up the morale and making sure they felt prepared
for their future teaching positions. This role suited my helpful personality perfectly and developed the skills necessary to make a
successful Study Skills Facilitator. Teaching adults in Melbourne was another completely different and challenging experience, I learnt
to work under pressure in a more organised and yet free environment; following instructions while exercising my creativity and working
with colleagues to provide the best possible lessons for our students.
I am looking for a job which is going to challenge me, and create exciting new memories and experiences.
