Amazing attack by a leopard
Leopards are designed to hunt their prey. They may be instantly recognizable in a zoo but theyre
extremely hard to spot in the wild.
Sometimes, however, the prey comes to the leopard. A group of antelopes were scared and began
to run straight at the big cat who simply had to pick a moment.
South African photographers caught the incredible attack on camera after half an hour carefully
waiting for the leopard to make its move.

Dragon-boat race in China

If you enjoy England's Oxford and Cambridge Universities boat race, take a look at the Chinese
version. It was the start of China's national dragon-boat racing series in the most southern province
in China. There were 16 teams competing for provinces across the country. Teams of men and
women took part in the 200 and 500-meter sprints.
It is not easy to move a dragon-boat. The boat won't move, if you haven't trained the technique. But
when you train the special skills, you will do very well.

Helicopter helps a deer

The rescue of a deer and her baby trapped in ice was filmed by a Canadian biologist. The female
deer tried for hours to get on her feet on the ice. She wasnt able to do it. The biologist informed
specialists about the situation because the ice was too thin to try rescuing by foot.
People decided to use a helicopter to help the deer. The pilot used the air blown from the helicopter
to move the deer to land. When the deer reached the land, people helped her to get to her feet, and
then she walked away into the woods.

Ukrainian politicians fight again

Politicians in the Ukraine were fighting again. It was the first parliamentary meeting since the end of
February. One group of politicians in the parliament didnt like a speech made by the other group
and fists started to fly.
The fight started because one politician gave a speech in Russian. Millions in the Ukraine see

Mother and son need help

Mountains rescuers were looking for a 41-year-old mother and 17-year-old son who were lost in a
tent in the mountains in Wales. There was a snow storm and they needed help because their body
temperature was very low.
The mother and son were three thousand feet up when they were found without the right equipment
and not enough clothes on. They were moved to a point where they could be picked up by a
helicopter.
The mountains have already seen many deaths in similar situations. Rescuers say if youre going up
there, go prepared with the right equipment and the right skills.
