Computer Teacher
WOODLAND HILLS, CA
MAY 2015-PRESENT
HAMLIN CHARTER ACADEMY
Maintained healthy and productive relationships among fellow teachers and administrators in an effort to meet and exceed learning objectives
and to allow maximum flexibility and accommodation.
Created and carried out lesson plans for 18 diverse classes which covered Pre-K to 5th grade curriculum.
Applied a verity of classroom management tactics in line with cultivating a classroom which encourages participation and critical thinking.
Administer Google Classroom, Nerpod lessons, and robotics lessons using programing applications.
Summary: I have had the privilege of working in several different school sites and hence, an array of school cultures. Primarily as a math tutor and
classroom aide, it was eye-opining to whiteness the similarities and differences in the struggles students, parents, and teachers as they try to work
together through natural turbulence (caused by conflicting goals and perspectives) in order to do what is best for the student. From these experiences, I
have learned that the most important key to success are: empathy to a different perspective, openness and objectiveness in considering alternatives,
and an understanding of how to be the glue that holds all the moving pieces together in order to arrive at effective solutions.
