Migrating from cultivated lands to big cities has evolved as a major topic of concern in recent

years. Although noticeable, the full impact of this phenomenon has not yet been felt by the
general public. This essay will discuss some grave problems on society, as well as suggest certain
ways of addressing it.
First of all, the wave of migrators into cities inevitably leads to numerous difficulties in terms of
job shortage. Strong evidence shows that there would be a harsh competition among people,
especially youngsters and college graduates, seeking a stable career in great metropolises. What
is more, a large number of citizens from other remote areas moving to cities would encourage the
widespread use of cars, which is exacerbating the traffic intensity and posing a detrimental effect
on environment owing to a vast amount of cars' gas emission. On top of that, there is a
burgeoning abundance of employees in big cities whereas agricultural areas are getting trouble
with the lack of farmers. This trend, as a result, would place a heavy burden on not only
agriculture but also national development.
In order to resolve these problems, we should first understand its root causes. At the heart of the
matter is that people ought to raise awareness about the importance of agriculture. Vietnam, for
instance, one of developing countries which has a main source of profits coming from exporting
farming products. Another effective solution could be noted that authorities and government
should implement attractive policies to appeal competent individuals to work for biological
experiment careers such as researching and developing various genetically modified products on
farm. Last but not least, there is a significant demand for investing modern facilities and
infrastructures in cultivated areas, which makes it possible for farmer to boost the agricultural
production.
In conclusion, the unequal development among different regions could lead to various damaging
effects on society. However, I believe that measures suggested above could constitute good first
steps towards dealing with this problem
