VIASOL PERM Car Park Flooring System is recommended

for use in residential & commercial building car park including
internal/intermediate decks, basements, ramps, service
corridors, walkways, signages and line markings.

Product description
VIASOL PERM Car Park Flooring System is a twocomponent, water vapour permeable, advanced resin based
coating system. It is specially formulated to have extremely
high vapour permeability combined with a fast drying primer
that exhibits excellent adhesion even to damp concrete
surface. It provides a hard wearing and water-proof surface
that is easily cleaned and highly resistant to fuels, lubricants,
hydraulic fluids (Skydrol) as well as most solvents and many
chemicals. Compared to traditional epoxy systems this
product shows excellent UV stability and weather resistance.

Application
Before starting the application, the material temperature
must be close to site conditions. Stir component A for at
least 1 2 minutes. Empty contents of component B
into component A. Mix with a suitable mixer at a speed
of 500 rpm to avoid incorporating excessive air into the
mix. Mix for 2 minutes.Transfer the mixture into another
clean container and mix for 1 minute.
Applying First Coat of VIASOL PERM
Apply VIASOL PERM at the consumption rate of
approximately 0.2 kg/m by roller.
For old, salts contaminated concrete surface (consult
VIACOR Technical for surface treatment), apply 2 coats of
VIASOL EP-P210 Primer by squeeze and back roll at the
consumption rate of 0.4 kg/m per coat.
Where anti-slip is required, broadcast the nominated size
anti-slip aggregates onto the surface while it is still wet.
Allow to cure over-night (or minimum 8 hours).
Sweep/vacuum off loose aggregates before proceeding to
next application

Applying Second Coat of VIASOL PERM

Spread the VIASOL PERM onto the surface with a
squeegee or trowel and back roll with a short nap roller in
a crisscross manner. When used without water dilution, it
will exhibit a textured (orange peel) finish.
Where anti-slip is required, broadcast the nominated size
anti-slip aggregates onto the surface while it is still wet.
Provide good ventilation to ensure that the relative air
humidity does not exceed 85% during application and
curing as it will inhibit evaporation of water and affect cure.
Optional: Apply a third coat of VIASOL PERM after the
second coat is dry using the same application method.

Substrate preparation
The substrate must be firm, clean, touch dry (can be
damp but no free water) and have a tensile strength of
1.5 N/mm minimum. Remove surface laitance,
contaminants, coating, curing compound and all weak
and loose materials. Prepare substrate by mechanical
means to provide the appropriate surface profile for
optimum mechanical keying.
Consult VIACOR Technical for surface treatment of old,
salts contaminated concrete floor.
