My Happy Ending...

As I walk on the pavement road,

Where we used to walk together,
Laughing while we talk about our ambitions,
Our hopes and dreams...

I can’t seem to stop,

Stop running,
Stop crying,
I can’t stop screaming inside my heart...

All I can feel is the pain that you had to face alone,
The loneliness you had to go through every day,
You were suffering but you still kept all of it inside,
You were trapped inside a box...

And as I was out of breathe from running,

I saw a piece of paper lying on the ground,
And it was the same piece of paper that you threw
away,
And said to me “it’s all pointless, everything is
meaningless”...
I pick it up and read what you wrote on that piece of
paper.
“the dreams that we shared,
The hopes that we hold on to,
Will light us the way to a brighter future,
To our happy ending”

My whole body went numb,

My face was covered by my tears,
And now I knew what you had thrown away,
Your ambitions...
You dreams,
Your hopes,
And your happy ending...

You’re gone now,

You left without saying a word to any of us,
But you did left a scar on our hearts,
A scar that only God knows when it will heal...
