CAPT ELLEN S. MAZZARELLA

Capt Ellen S. Mazzarella is the officer in charge of the F-22 Combined
Test Force at Edwards Air Force Base, California, where she leads
and coordinates the mission accomplishment of production
supervisors, expediters, weapons loaders, and specialists.
Captain Mazzarella graduated from Hamline University in 2011 with a
Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and received her commission
through Air Force ROTC at the University of St. Thomas. She then
attended Minuteman III Initial Qualification Training at Vandenberg Air
Force Base, California. As the commander of a combat-ready missile
crew, she provided oversight of ten intercontinental ballistic missiles
and $3.3 billion in weapons system assets on a daily basis in support
of Air Force Global Strike Commands nuclear deterrence mission. In
addition to her duties as a missile combat crew commander, Capt
Mazzarella has served as an instructor in the 90th Operations Support
Squadron. Capt Mazzarella was also the primary instructor for the
319th Missile Squadrons Simulated Electronic Launch- Minuteman,
ensuring 30 missile combat crew members were equipped to support
the 576th Flight Test Squadrons test of six operationally deployed
intercontinental ballistic missiles. Capt Mazzarella has also served as
the primary non-biased review officer for the 90th Munitions Squadron semi-annual inventory review, ensuring 100
percent accountability of the 90th Missile Wings nuclear assets. Prior to her last two assignments, Capt Mazzarella
was the 320th Missile Squadrons deputy combat crew commander competitor at Air Force Global Strike Commands
Global Strike Challenge.
