Objectives
General Objective :
This study aims too asses the ability of lemongrass
extract to terminate animal ticks.
Specific Objectives :
Specifically this study aims;
- To determine the effectiveness of lemongrass extract
in killing animal ticks.
- To determine the effectiveness of lemongrass oil in
killing animal ticks.
Hypothesis
- Lemongrass extract will not be able to terminate
animal ticks.
Definition of Terms
Lemongrass - a fragrant tropical grass that yields an oil that smells
lemon. It is widely used in Asian cooking and in perfumery and
medicine.

Water - a colorless, transparent, odorless, tasteless liquid that forms
the seas, lakes, rivers, and rain and is the basis of the fluids of living
organisms.

Olive Oil - Olive oil is a fat obtained from the olive (the fruit of Olea
europaea; family Oleaceae).

Tick - Ticks are small arachnids in the order Parasitiformes. Along with
mites, they constitute the subclass Acarina.
Repellent - able to repel a particular thing; impervious to a particular
substance.
