Title - Service and Love Montage- Project 4
Description - This is a montage that I created to depict how love
and service are related.
Programs -Adobe Photoshop
Date - 28 May 2016
Course & Section - COMM 130 - 08
Instructor - Lindsey LeFevre
Objectives - My objectives in this were to create a visual which
depicts the relationship between love and service. I wanted to
create something that was soft but still rang true.
Process - I started this design by searching for some pictures on
the internet of friends. I eventually found a picture of two gals
sitting on a pier, which I saved and cut the gals out of in Adobe
Photoshop. I then found a bench picture, which I cut out in the
same program, to sit the gals on. I then found the background,
which is the park, that goes nicely with the theme. I then put the
cutout of the bench in the park, then put the gals on the bench.
After that, I added the text and was finished with this project.

Title - Raging Tiger Logo - Project 5
Description - This is a logo I made for a made up martial arts
studio.
Programs -Adobe Illustrator
Date - 4 June 2016
Course & Section - COMM 130 - 08
Instructor - Lindsey LeFevre
Objectives - My objectives in this were to create a logo for a
martial arts studio that I made up. I wanted to descrbe what the
studio is and also include a design that is interesting, related,
and recognizable.
Process - I started this design by drawing some sketches and
them transferring my ideas to Adobe Illustrator. I then created
the tiger claw, which is an idea I had based off of tiger style
kung fu, and added the text banner to that. I then found an asian
themed font online, and changed my text font to that.

simple and neat.

something that was sleek, neat, and modern.
Process - I started this designby searching for some watches on
the internet. I found that I was interested in the watches created
by the company Dezeen, so I saved a couple pictures then
opened them in Adobe Photoshop. I then cut out the watches
and saved the PSD files so that I could open them in Adobe
InDesign and not have any background. I them linked them to
the InDesign document, created the text, used a text wrap, then
printed it out. I used an offset fold so that the title is visable both
on the front and on the inside.

for an event and use a background that provides relevant content
to the event.
Process - I started this program in Microsoft Word, where I
put the background picture in. I then had to think of a an event

create a triad colour scheme.

Save the Oregonians!

The precious

their lives. We
must preserve

the themes of the piece. I then moved to textwrangler, where I
created this webpage in HTML, and imported the image. I then
moved over to another textwrangler document and created a
CSS file where i worked out the layout and colours to be included in this piece. Finally, I saved the HTML file so that I could
access it on the internet.

Programs - Adobe Photoshop
Date - 21 May 2016
Course & Section - COMM 130 - 08
