Welcome to Macquaries online


banking guide our fast, simple and
convenient banking guide that helps
you stay incontrol.
This booklet will help you to navigate our online banking site and transact
on your Macquarie Cash Management Account (CMA). To get started,
you will need your Macquarie Access Code (MAC) and password that
were recently sent to you.

If you do not have a MAC or cannot locate your password,


please contact Client Services on 133 174 or email at

Accessing online banking


for the first time
Shortly after opening your Macquarie CMA, you would have received
your MAC and your password. Using this information, please follow
the below instructions to log in and view your account details.

Steps
1

Go to the Macquarie website macquarie.com.au

Click the Log in button located at the top right-hand side of the page

Choose Macquarie Online and Go

Enter your eight digit MAC and your password and then select Login

A message will appear advising you that your password has expired

Enter a password of your choice, ensuring that it contains at to eight characters including one numerical value
and at least one upper case letter

Select continue

Before proceeding further, please ensure that you have read and agree to the Terms and Conditions
of using this service

You will now be taken to the front page of Macquarie Online.

Home
The home page will list all of your Macquarie accounts, including a
summary of key information such as your balance and available funds.
Select the expansion button on the right-hand side of the account to view your last five transactions and additional quick
linksincluding:
transfer funds
pay a bill
manage my account
create an account nickname.

Click on the drop-down


arrow to expand your
account view.

If you would like to view more than your last five transactions, select the account you
wish to view by clicking the hyperlink under your chosen account.

Managing your profile


Select My profile from the menu in the top right of the screen.

Hyperlink to myprofile page.

Steps
To edit an account nickname:

Select the account you wish to nickname

Click the Change nickname button

Type in the name you wish to call your account and click save.

In this screen, you can:


manage your
calendaralerts
edit your account
nicknames.

If there is already a name


in the text box, delete the
contents, add your new
name and click save.

Managing your accounts


You can access the Accounts tab from the home page in two ways:
through the Accounts tab on the top navigation pane
from the Home page by clicking on the account hyperlink for the account you wish to view.

Click to access your accounts.

Click to access the selected


account directly.

The Accounts page provides easy access to all of your account information
by switching between the tabs.
These include:
transaction history
Statements and reports
account information.
Additional quick links.

Additional quick links.

There are also additional quick links to the right of these tabs for extra functionality.
These include:
funds transfer
BPAY payments
scheduled payments
payees and billers.

Transaction history
You can view a complete listing of your recent transactions before your
statement has been produced.
Steps
1

You can view your available transactions by clicking on the account hyperlink
from the Home page, or selecting the Accounts tab and then the required
account from the drop-down selector at the top of the Accounts page

The page should default to the Transaction history view. If not, select the
Transaction history tab

Under the Transaction history tab, complete the date filters for the time
period you wish to review and click Update

To add an annotation to
your transactions
C
lick the pencil icon to the left of a
transaction. In the update details
window, select the required category
and add further information or
reference details as required
Select save and close to save
changes and return to the
transaction history page.

Select the drop-down arrow to


change your account view.

Select Transaction history tab.


Select the dates you want to view.

You can filter by transaction type.

If you have more than one page of results, you can move between pages by
clicking the right facing arrow at the bottom of the page, or increase the number
of results per page

You can also filter by transaction type and export to Excel .csv format. To print
your transactions select the Print transaction report hyperlink

To reset your filters and start again, click on the Clear filters button.

To remove an annotation
from your transactions
C
lick the pencil icon to the left
of a transaction. In the update
details window, select the clear
all hyperlink
Select save and close to remove
the narrative and return to the
transaction history page.

Statements and reports


You are able to view up to ten years of statements online.
Note: You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to launch a statement.

Steps
1

Once you have logged in, navigate to the Accounts page and ensure your required account has been selected
in the drop-down

Navigate to the Statements tab and select the statement period(s) you wish to download.
Click Download selected

You can change accounts any time you wish by clicking the drop-down at the top of the page, and selecting
another account.

Select a different account.

Navigate to the statements tab.

Select your statement period.


Audit Reports are also available
and can be downloaded here

Click to download your statement.

Account information
Your account information tab will display the full account details
for your selected account.
Steps
1

Once you have logged in, navigate to the Accounts page and ensure your required account has been selected
in the drop-down

This tab provides additional account details including:


product name, account mailing address, account status
interest and tax information
services linked to your account
your nominated accounts list
your direct debits.
Select account information.

Payments
The payments menu allows you to access the following functions:
funds transfer
BPAY payments
scheduled payments
payees and billers
International Money Transfers.
You can access these options through the quick links on the Account page or through the Payments tab menu
at the top of the page.

Click on Payments menu tab


or select a different account.

Quick links to funds transfer, BPAY


payments, scheduled payments
and to payees and billers for the
selected account.

Please note, these quick


links will only provide
payment information for
the selected account. To
change your account view,
you can select a different
account from the dropdown menu.

Funds transfer
The easiest and most convenient way to access your funds is via
online banking.
The daily limit for a funds transfer is $20,000 per day. If you wish to transfer an amount greater than $20,000, you will need to
register the receiving account as a nominated account or request a temporary limit increase, by contacting Client Services.

Steps
1

Once you have logged in, click on the Payments menu tab and select the Funds transfers drop-down option.
Or, you can expand the the drop-down under your selected account and click the Funds transfers quick link
under the account name

Select the Payments tab, then Funds


Transfer out of the drop-down menu.

Select the Funds transfer option under


the Quick links menu.

Quick links
There are four quick link options:

Funds transfer

Bpay payment

Scheduled payments

Payees and billers.

Select the account you wish to transfer from (if not already pre-filled)

Select the account you wish to


transfer from.
Select from your Macquarie accounts,
Nominated accounts or pre-saved
payee list.

Save new payee details to your Payee


list for future use.

If you have a pre-saved payee or nominated account you wish to use, select the account in the To account list.
This will pre-fill the payee details

If you wish to enter a new payee, complete the information in the payee details box. To save your new payee details
to your payee list for future use, select the add to payee list tick box

Enter the amount you wish to transfer and a transfer description (optional). This will appear on your statement

You will need to select the timing of your transfer from the following options:
immediate (will occur overnight or following the business day)
future dated (once only - for a later date)
recurring (a regular scheduled transfer)

Please check the details you have entered are correct. Select Continue

Note: If your transaction is greater than $20,000, you can only transfer to a nominated bank account. Nominated
accounts are marked as Nominated and listed in the To account list under the Nominated and My accounts heading.
To nominate an account, simply contact us on 1800 806 310 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday

To authorise this transfer, please enter the password you used to log into Macquarie Online, then select Authorise.

Enter your online password.

You will receive confirmation that your transfer has been submitted successfully
to a non nominated account.

To print this confirmation screen, use the print icon at the top right-hand side of
thescreen.

BPAY payments
Internet banking offers you the convenience of paying bills using BPAY.
Steps
1

Once you have logged in, click on the Payments menu tab and select the BPAY payments drop-down option. Or, you can
expand the the drop-down under your selected account and click the BPAY payment quick link under the account name
Select the Payments tab,
then BPAY payment from
the drop-down menu.

Select the BPAY payment


option under the quick links
menu.


You can also view scheduled BPAY payments by selecting Scheduled payments from the Payments menu.
Please note that BPAY payments can take up to three business days to be received by the biller. There is no daily
limit for BPAY payments, however some financial institutions may have an incoming limit.

Select the account you wish to


make a payment from.
Select from pre-saved biller list.
Save and add new biller details.

Select the account you wish to make a payment from (if not already pre-filled). If you have a pre-saved biller you wish to
use, select the biller in the To biller list. This will pre-fill the biller details

If you wish to enter a new biller, enter the information in the biller details box. To save your new biller details to your biller
list for future use, select the add to biller list tick box

Enter the amount you wish to pay and select the timing of your payment from the below options:
immediate (will occur overnight or the following business day)
future dated (once only - for a later date)
recurring (a regular scheduled transfer)

Select Continue

Please check the details you have entered are correct

To authorise this payment, please enter your online password then select Authorise

Scheduled payments
This page lists all of your scheduled payments in the one place.
Note: Immediate and processed payments will not appear in this list. BPAY payments can only be scheduled up to one year
inadvance.

Steps
1

Once you have logged in, click on the Payments menu tab and select the Scheduled payments drop-down option

To filter the scheduled payments list by account, select the From account

To filter by date, add in the payment date range you wish to view and click update

To reset your search and view all unprocessed scheduled payments, click clear filters next to the payment date range

You can change your account view at any time by changing the account under the From account

Modify, view or delete the payment.

View your scheduled payments by clicking on a payment row or select the View option from the Actions button
in the far right column

You can modify, view or delete scheduled payments using the Actions buttons in the far right column.

Note: Modify and delete actions are only available until the cut-off times described in the Payment information document.
A hyperlink to this document is provided at the bottom of your screen.

For Funds transfers


You can only modify the amount, description and date fields. These changes must be authorised prior to the cut-off time indicated.

For BPAY payments


You can only modify the amount and date fields. These changes must also be authorised prior to the cut-off time provided.

Payees and billers


This screen allows you to manage your saved payee and biller lists in
the one place.
Payee list
Steps
1

Once you have logged in, click on the Payments menu tab and select the Payees and billers drop-down option

The payee list contains all your saved payees for the selected account. It is not currently possible to share payees across
accounts. Payees will need to be added separately for each account where required.

Select the account you wish to


view payees for.
Add a new payee.
Change or delete existing payees.

Payees added in this list are restricted to a daily transfer limit of $20,000. If you wish
to transfer an amount greater than $20,000, you will need to register the receiving
account as a nominated account.

Adding a payee
Steps
1

To add a payee, select the account you wish to add a payee for in the From account drop-down

Select the Add payee button in the top right of the screen

Enter the account name, BSB and account number. Please check these details carefully before clicking Save.

Add in the payee details.

Click save when you are finished.

Modifying a payee
Steps
1

To modify a payee, select the Modify action button in the far right column

Change the details that you need to update and select Save.

Note: modifying a payee will not impact any transfers or schedules previously saved with the original payee details. To amend
saved schedules, you will need to go to the scheduled payments screen.

Deleting a payee
Steps
1

To delete a payee, select the Delete action button in the far right column

Check you have selected the correct payee, then click Delete.

Note: deleting a payee will not impact any transfers or schedules previously saved with these payee details. To amend or delete
saved schedules, go to the scheduled payments screen.

Biller list
Steps
1

Once you have logged in, select the Payments tab and Payees and billers drop-down

Select the Biller list tab

The biller list contains your saved billers. These are shared across all your Macquarie Mortgage and Cash accounts.

Add a new biller.


Change or delete existing billers.

Adding a biller
Steps
1

To Add a biller, select the Add biller button in the top right of the screen

Enter the biller code, customer reference number and bill description

Click Save.

Note: it is not possible to save variable Customer Reference Numbers (CRN). The CRN field will display as Variable in the biller list
for billers using variable CRNs. You will be notified if you attempt to incorrectly save a CRN for these billers.

Add in the biller details.

Click save when you are finished.

Modifying a biller
Steps
1

To modify a biller, select the Modify button in the far right column

Change the details that you need to update and select Save.

Note: modifying a biller will not impact any payments or schedules previously saved with the original biller details.
To amend saved schedules, go to the scheduled payments screen.

Edit the details as required.

Click save when you are finished.

Deleting a biller
Steps
1

To delete a biller, select the Delete button in the far right column

Check you have selected the correct biller, the click the Delete button.

Note: deleting a biller will not impact any payments or schedules previously saved with these biller details. To amend or delete
saved schedules, go to the scheduled payments screen.

Messages
You will receive a payment confirmation message in your Macquarie
Online messages inbox every time you authorise a electronic transfer limit
funds transfer or BPAY payment transaction.
The Home tab will display a counter at the top indicating if you have any new messages in your inbox.

Steps
To access the message inbox either:

Select the Messages menu tab

Click on the Messages counter.


View your messages inbox.

Note: Messages will be automatically deleted after 14 days.

For security reasons, payment confirmation messages cannot be deleted until after 24 hours. Messages
deleted within 24 hours will remain displayed with a clock symbol until the 24-hour period has elapsed.
Any unread messages appear with a closed envelope and read messages will appear with an open envelope.
