8/2015-6/2016 Dietetic Intern Completed 1200 hours of supervised practice including 18 weeks of clinical, 10 weeks of community, and 9 weeks of foodservice and management rotations. Community Hospital: Utilized the Nutrition Care Process to assess, diagnose, and develop nutritional interventions for a broadbased patient population at a 343-bed community hospital covering med-surg, telemetry, oncology, ICU, sub-acute neural care, and inpatient behavioral health units. Achieved quality patient care with timely assessments, reliance on evidence-based standards to implement medical nutrition therapy, and delivery of effective nutrition education. Trained in Cerner and CBORD software. Sub-Acute Neural Care: Comprehensive experience in nutrition support in feeding 87 long-term residents. STEMI Center Intensive Care Unit: Provided nutritional care for patients in a 47-bed ICU. Coordinated with pharmacists, nursing, and medical residents to develop nutrition support and formula regimens for children with cancer and other critical illnesses. Outpatient Bariatric: Provided diet education to pre-operative and post-operative patients through one-on-one counseling and group classes. DaVita Dialysis: Provided education for patients with renal disease on hemodialysis, including explaining the effects of diet on their laboratory results, meal planning, and disease management through dietary modifications. Intensive Outpatient Eating Disorder Recovery: Assessed and evaluated patient progress, created meal plans, participated in supportive meal times, and developed and presented group nutrition education session for patients and staff. Outpatient Diabetes Management: In-depth diabetes education experience using motivational interviewing techniques and the diabetic exchange lists in person, and through telephone counseling. Community Health: Rotations included participating in county public health programs such as WIC, NEOP, Head Start, and NAP SACC and providing nutrition education in both one-on-one, small group discussions, and community center lectures. Foodservice management and administration: Rotations included assisting with the development, nutrient analysis, and roll out of a new menu and cook-chill system at a 343-bed hospital. Developed a mock budget and participated in daily operations at a large unified school district. Didactic components: Included participating in a HIV/AIDS conference and a Public Policy event, as well as specialized training for nutrition focused physical exams, motivational interviewing, enteral nutrition support, and weight management counseling.

Nationstar Lending, Inc. 3/2003-1/2009 Processing & Office Manager, Co-Owner Supervised and coordinated a team of 5 processors while managing a large commercial & residential loan pipeline in excess of $300 million in annual fundings.
