In Phileas Foggs room his clothes
were divided into different colours;
each jacket had a number. In the
wardrobe, there was a bag for
keeping money, watches or other
items. After looking in all the
different rooms, he finally came to
his own bedroom. Above the chest of
drawers there was an electric clock; it
was a red clock like the one that
Phileas Fogg had in his living room.
The two clocks played music at the
exact same time. Below the clock
there was a book listing the details of
Passepartouts day.

Example answer:
On Guy Fawkes night or Bonfire Night
(5th November) in the UK we celebrate
the day the House of Parliament was
saved, but also death of Guy Fawkes
because the government killed him for
leaving explosives under the Houses of
Parliament. Sometimes people burn a
man of cloth, etc. called a Guy but I
think people prefer to watch the
fireworks than celebrate this. It is not
wrong to have a day when people can
get together but I believe the
celebration of a tradition should not
hurt other peoples feelings, if possible.
I didnt know that in Indonesia you
never give presents with your left hand
so some people probably thought I was
rude. If you want to give money or
anything like that you should give it
with your right hand. In England people
think you are very rude if there is a
queue and you dont wait your turn.

Possible answers:
Inspector Fix: He wants to be friends
with Passepartout so that he can stop
Phileas Fogg leaving on the ship from
Hong Kong and arrest him. Mr Fix
wither a) has no other friends and he
needs friend or b) he is only interested
in his job.
Passepartout: He wants to go for a
drink with Inspector Fix because he
can talk with someone. He is very
happy to see Phileas Fogg again but he
seems to do well on his own too. Maybe
he knows that Inspector Fix planned
everything in the bar, but he doesnt
know the real reason. He does not
want to cause trouble and he is no
doubt that Fogg will win.
