Chapter 1.1 Introduction

A tsunami is a series of ocean waves generated by sudden
displacements in the sea floor, landslides, or volcanic
activity. In the deep ocean, the tsunami wave may only be
a few inches high. The tsunami wave may come gently
ashore or may increase in height to become a fast moving
wall of turbulent water several meters high.

In this portfolio, I will talking about how tsunami form,

history, impact of tsunami.

Chapter 1.2 Tsunami Formation

Tsunamis arise from the sudden displacement of gigantic
water masses due to earthquakes on the sea bed, volcanic
eruption above and under water, landslides or meteorite
impacts.
Here are some images that can explain how tsunami form.

Introspection
When our geography teacher Miss Yan (Mr Yan ^o^) told
us to do this homework, I think it is a difficult homework to
do it. When I do it today, I dont need to take time for whole
day to finish this homework! And it is quite easy to do.
Also, when I am doing this homework, I can learn a lot of
things about tsunami on the Internet, thats good for
me!!!!!
