Motivation
a. Sharing of experiences on the previous holiday occasions.
b. Write words about the concept(s) of New Year.
c. On a bond paper (secret sheet), write all the achievements, failures and
mistakes committed in the previous year.
d. Make a statement of what the New Year will be for one self. Write it on the
board.
PROCESS/SKILLS
Activities
a. Read the statements written on the board.
b. Look closely on the verbs used. Identify the tense used, whether present,
past or future.
c. Discussion on the different forms of the future tense.
d. Construct sentences using the different forms of future tense.
UNDERSTANDING

a. Go back to the previous activity where the secret sheet was used.
b. From the lists, make plans for the future years.
c. Relate them to the personal statement about what the new year will be for
one self.
