Global Warming: A Threat or Not?

Among other problems the world is facing- environmentalists voice out that Global
Warming is the mist substantial of all while others claim for it not to be even real. By definition,
Global Warming is the equivocal continuing rise on the average temperature of the Earths
climate system. Being that case, I stand with those who protest that the world is warming.
To prove my point, let us begin looking in the perspective of history and today. Much can
be said that the worlds population increases by the moment, buildings are constructed by the
minute and devices are made by the second. All of these add up to the need for more natural
resources and land area for the productions of products. The results of this lessen the space
intended for plants and trees to propagate- increasing the amount of carbon dioxide suspended in
the atmosphere, thus trapping the Suns heat and causing global warming.
Based on researchers, the global sea level rose about 17 centimetres in the last century.
The rate in the last decade, however, is nearly double that of the last century. The number of
record high temperature events in all states has been increasing, while the number of record low
temperature events has been decreasing, since 1950. The acidity of surface ocean waters has
increased by about 30 percent while satellite observations reveal that the amount of spring snow
cover in the Northern Hemisphere has decreased over the past five decades and that the snow is
melting earlier.
This is really an alarming rate of changes in the world. As part of the human race, the
most intelligent species of all, we must take action and try to prevent this at all cost. The next
generation is at stake. We must start from the littlest things- burning plastics to recycling them.
Take part in the revolution. If you still dont believe ask yourself- why the world is warming?
