Activating Hik-DDNS

1. Click Configuration
2. Click Network
Settings, Click
TCP/IP
3. Assign IP address,
make sure that no
device are not using
the ip address.
4. Routers Gateway (IP
address of router)
5. DNS Server can be
used also as the same
IP address of router
6. Click Save.

can be assigned as 1024,

Getting the DVR/NVR device serial number

2. Click Remote Configuration, then click Device Information
3. Serial no.: highlighted part is the device serial number (eg. 479784372), this
will also be ask in www.hik-online.com

Registration to HIK-DDNS
1. You should have an access or account in HIK-DDNS for you to
register the device.
2. Registration is free. No service charge required.

3. HIK-DDNS used for those clients internet account only using


dynamic, but can also be used for static account

1. Device Serial no.: Please enter nvr/dvr


device serial no.
2. Device Domain: Please input domain name
that had been entered on nvr/dvr DDNS
3. HTTP Port: Please enter the http port that
had been entered on Network settings >

Go back to DEVICE STATUS to get the link


With the HYPERLINK meaning registering on Hikddns was successfully, it is online
and working.

Sample Steps how to port forward in PLDTDSL Router

Default username:
adminpldt
Default password:

Note:
PLDTDSL Modem router, Bayantel router, and Globe prolink router were using
port: 80.
You need to change the HTTP Port of the dvr/nvr from 80 to 81 or 82 or 83 etc.
Just dont use port 80 as your HTTP for dvr/nvr. Youll end up port-forwarding
their router.

PLDT Home DSL Interface

1. Click Advanced
2. Click NAT
3. Under NAT, click
Virtual Server

Service Type:
Usual Service Name: Click the dropdown list and select as WEB not
AUTH.
Protocol:
TCP
WAN Setting:
Interface
WAN Interface:

WAN Port:
88 (http port of dvr/nvr youd set)
Lan Port:
88 (http port of dvr/nvr that youd set)
LAN IP Address: 192.168.1.64 (local ip address of dvr/nvr that youd set)
Once finished entering, click APPLY CHANGES
Repeat this procedure for Server Port and to RTSP Port.

And then click SAVE to save the configuration.

Checking of PORTS if Open or Not


1. From the browser, key in www.canyouseeme.org
2. It is useful to users who wish to verify port forwarding.
3. YOUR IP: Shows your PUBLIC IP ADDRESS that your INTERNET SERVICE
PROVIDER (ISP) releasing.

Once it says
SUCCESS
meaning your port
successfully
opened.

Repeat checking of port for Http port / Service Port /


RTSP port

Once it says
ERROR
meaning the port
not open yet on
the router or
maybe the clients
internet account
was only
residential
