The objective of In-Plant training is to acquire skills practically in real

industry about planning, scheduling, labour management, material(resources)
management, interaction between client and contractor, execution, quality control,
measurement of works, estimation and to handle various technical and as well as nontechnical problems at the field.
The construction site was a residential building, and all designs considerations
and materials were based on Indian Standard Code of Practice. This report is based on
the experience gained in the construction of residential building during this training
period. The residential building consists of bedroom, hall, kitchen, dining, pooja,
bathroom, staircase, sit-out and parking. In this report, G+2 residential works were
considered and the construction area of this building is 1504.56 sqft.
During this period, detailed study of plan, assessing the required materials for
the work, column shoe marking, column concreting, level marking at columns(at
various levels), brickwork, steel staircase fixing, lintel concrete, tiles laying,
plastering, roof slab shuttering were observed and including measurement of works
and preparing cement adequacy statements, preparing labour out-turn statements were
observed.
