Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
i) talk about the story Dolly The Hungry Doe (M/L)
ii) make polite requests and express apologies with their friends correctly (M)
iii) say the polite requests and apologies in the story (L)
Activities: 1. Teacher shows the pictures of doe, cow, sheep and horse. Teacher introduces the characters in the story.
(induction)
2. Pupils will be asked to look at the picture on page 75 and ask to talk about the picture.
3. Teacher reads the story on page 76 and pupils listen to the teacher.
4. Pupils read the story after the teacher with the correct intonations.
5. Pupils will be asked to sit with their pair and practise to make polite requests and express apologies.

6. Pupils will be given the situation by the teacher and they will make polite requests and express apologies
based on the situation.
7. Pupils will be chosen randomly to perform in front of the class.
8. Pupils will make conclusion of todays lesson (sharing and caring)

Objectives: By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
i) listen and recite the rhymes correctly . (M/L)
ii) thanking someone and express a simple apology (M/L)
Activities: 1. Teacher gives sweets to everyone. Teacher will ask what do they say once they receives the sweet thank
you, teacher (induction)
2. Pupils will listen and recite the chant after the teacher TB page 63.
3. Pupils will be divided into small groups and they will practice to recite the chant with actions.
4. Teacher explains we say thank you to show that we are grateful and say sorry when we do wrong.
5. Pupils say Thank you and sorry with correct pronunciation.
6. Pupils will do the role play in the class.
7. Pupils will be given activity on AB.
8. Pupils make conclusion of todays lesson (be polite)

1. Pupils will follow the steps from 1-4.
2. Pupils practice to say thank you in a polite manner.
3. Pupils will blend and segment the words in Pupils Module Book 1.
