Support the London Knowledge Quiz - Live Final 2016 Tuesday 5th July 2016
Congratulations! Your child has been nominated by their Humanities teachers as having had
a fantastically successful year. They have been polite, prepared and productive in all their
lessons and as such, we would like to say thank you.
Over the past two weeks, six pupils have formed an Oasis Academy Shirley Park team,
competing against other schools across London in an online knowledge quiz. We are
delighted they have been invited to attend the live final on Tuesday 5th July.
We are allowed to take up to 20 supporters to cheer on our team at the live final and meet
the Mayor of London himself. The final will take place in front of a live audience in the
Sackler Hall at the Museum of London on London Wall. Due to your childs fantastic
performance in Humanities this year, we would like to invite them to come and support our
team.
Pupils will leave the Academy at 09:00 and return at 16:00. They will be escorted by myself
and Mr Johnston throughout the day.

Please complete the attached consent form including if your child receives a free school
meal and how they are to be dismissed from the trip and return it to Mr Canvin by Monday
4th July.
