Documents to be brought by the candidates on the day of verification:-

Matriculation/equivalent certificate, issued by the State/Central Education Board (and not by


the Principal/Headmaster of the School/Institution where studied), showing your date of birth
(in Christian Era).
All certificates and mark-sheets in support of your Essential Qualification(s) and subjects
studied at various levels, as claimed in your application. The certificate/mark-sheet of
essential qualification for the examination (12th standard) should contain the date of
publication of the result of the qualifying examination. If the certificate/mark-sheet does
not contain the date of publication of result a separate certificate from the competent
authority stating the date of publication of result should be submitted failing which you
would not be allowed to appear for the skill test.
(a) Certificates/documents (issued by the Competent Authorities and in the format as
prescribed in the Notice of Examination published in the Employment News/Rozgar
Samachar dated 08-08-2015) in support of your claim of belonging to the categories of
SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman.
(b) Candidates belonging to OBC category seeking reservation and concession shall
invariably submit OBC Certificate with creamy layer status issued by the Competent
Authority in prescribed format which must be issued between 08.09.2012 and upto
05.03.2016. Failure to produce OBC certificate as required by the Commission will
deprive the candidate of any reservation/concession admissible to the community and
such candidates will be considered as General (UR) candidates subject to fulfillment of
age limit and other short listing criteria for UR candidates.

For Ex-Servicemen candidates, Complete Discharge Book in support of your claim of


belonging to Ex-Serviceman Category (if applicable). Ex-Servicemen who have already
secured employment in civil side under Central Government in Group C&D posts on
regular basis after availing of the benefits of reservation given to ex-servicemen for their reemployment, he/she can avail of the benefit of reservation as ex-serviceman for subsequent
employment if he/she immediately after joining civil employment, given self declaration/
undertaking to the concerned employer about the date-wise details of application for various
vacancies for which he/she had applied for before joining the initial civil employment as
mentioned in the OM No.36034/1/2014-Estt (Res) dated 14th August 2014 issued by
DOP&T. For any serviceman of the three Armed Forces of the Union to be treated as ExServiceman, he would complete specified term of engagement from the Armed Forces
within the stipulated period of one year from the Closing Date (i.e. 07.09.2015). Service
Clerks in the last year of their active service in the Armed Forces, i.e. only those who are due
for release from the Army during the period 08.09.2015 to 07.09.2016 are eligible for agerelaxation.
Certificate from the Office/Department [in case you are claiming age relaxation as a
Central Govt. Civilian Employee (CGCE)] in support of your claim that you have
completed three years of regular service on the prescribed date and also
Official/Departmental endorsement/certificate with particulars, duly verified by your
office. (Please note that you will not be eligible for age relaxation admissible to the
Central Govt. Civilian Employee, if you have ceased to be in Govt. service). You will also
be required to submit No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer in case you
have opted for age relaxation as CGCE employee, failing which your age relaxation
under CGCE will be cancelled.
Photo Identity Card in original like Voter Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card,
Passport etc.
Three passport size photographs.

If you do not produce any of the above mentioned documents in original (along with their
self attested photocopies) which are required for determining your eligibility for the post(s) you have
qualified for, you will not be admitted for the document verification and skill test under any
circumstances whatsoever and no further opportunity will be accorded to take the skill test.

No travelling or other expenses will be paid by the Commission for attending the document
verification.

Any change in your present postal address should be communicated to this office at once
indicating your Roll No., date and time of document verification, name of the examination and the
post applied for and the changed address.

Your candidature is Provisional. You must in your own interest go through the detailed
instructions contained in the Notice of the examination (available on the website of the Commission
http://ssc.nic.in) and related corrigendum to the Notice issued from time to time and ensure that you
fulfill all the conditions of eligibility laid down in the advertisement/notice of the Examination. If at
any stage it is found that you do not fulfill any of the conditions of eligibility, your candidature
will be cancelled and no appeal against such cancellation will be entertained.

It was mentioned in the notice of the examination that Candidates having required skills
in stenography as explained in Para 11 (2) only need to apply. Qualifying in the skill test is a
mandatory stage of the examination. Hence the candidates are advised to report for document
verification only if they are having the required skills in stenography. If any candidate fails to
qualify in the skill test, as per the norms laid down in the notice of the examination, he/she will not be
considered while processing the final result of the examination.

Admission Certificate for Skill test in Stenography will be handed over to the eligible
candidates on the day of document verification. There is no exemption from appearing in Skill test
in Stenography for any category of candidates.
9.
Candidates are required to exercise their Department/Office preference during online
verification. They are advised to download the option form from the website sscer.org and bring the
filled in form on the day of document verification.
10.
Please note that date, time and venue of document verification is final and no request for
change will be entertained. If you fail to appear for document verification on the date as mentioned in
this call letter you will not be allowed to appear in the Skill test in Stenography nor you will be further
considered for Stenographers (Grade C & D) Examination 2015.

Canvassing in any form will result in cancellation of your candidature.
