General information
Use the User Manual, SAP No.: 1165-216, as additional literature on the VISUCAM lite fundus
camera. You must be familiar with the contents of the user manual to be able to work with the
service instructions.
The replacement modules have been chosen in such a way that replacing them should be
possible without a special training. If in-depth work on the unit is necessary, you should attend
the appropriate service training.
No fastening components are allocated to and supplied with the spare parts. For this reason,
the fastening components provided in the unit must be re-used when modules are replaced.

Image recover Partition C recover

Overview
-

Image (conplete content of hard disk) recover:

If there is a hard disk installed new in the VISUCAMlite or a completely down OS (Operating
System) the OS including the VISUCAMlite program and Database must be transfered onto
the hard disk (Image recover). Is there a used hard disk the partitions have to be erased
beforehand.
If the complete Image is transfered, the complete content of the Hard disk includ the
database (patient datas and pictures) will be erased.
Partition C recover:
In case of e.g. crashed OS or an OS Update is necessary only a partition C transfer should
be done to the hard disk.
Partition C recovery keeps the database (patient datas and pictures) saved on the hard
disk.
Note: during this procedure, it is not possible to use the mouse. Buttons can be activated
using the keys or the tabulator key. The Enter key activates or concludes a
function or procedure.

Restoring a complete image from CD-ROM onto the hard disk

Erasing the hard disk
