It is a sustainable planting?
Also known as biological or organic, is an alternative agricultural production
system that allows for food (of animal and vegetable origin) of the highest quality
and free of chemical residues, respecting the environment and preserving or
improving soil fertility by using optimal natural resources without the use of
synthetic chemicals and ensuring the welfare of animals.
It is a production system that favors the use of renewable resources, avoids
the use of chemicals and genetic manipulation and uses techniques that help
maintain the ecosystem.
What is an ecological planting:
Ecological planting is a farming system that provides consumers with fresh,
tasty and authentic food while respecting the life cycles of natural systems.
To do this ecological planting is based on a series of objectives and
principles, as well as common practices designed to minimize human impact on
the environment, while ensuring the agricultural system operates as
naturally as possible.
The most common practices are:
Do not incorporated into food substances or harmful to health or impair
their capacity food waste.
They respect the natural cycles of crops.
enhance the natural fertility of the soil and the productive capacity of the
agricultural ecosystem, ensuring its continuity.
Selects resistant to diseases that are adapted to local conditions, so they
are integrated into the egroecosistema so that environmental impacts do
not produce plant species.
They take advantage of in situ resources, such as manure for fertilization.
